TNT has posted an announcement on the Neoboards and on *cough cough* Discord about some incoming site maintenance TONIGHT:

ATTENTION NEOPIANS!

Neopets.com will be offline TONIGHT (11/01/23), from 7PM NST until 5:15 AM PST on 11/02/23, for routine maintenance!

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve the Neopets experience!

TNT hasn't indicated the reason for the maintenance, but it almost certainly does not mean any new features will be launching. Instead, it's likely due to some backend infrastructure changes, such as a server change or database update, that cannot happen while users are actively using your service.

During this time, Neopets will be inaccessible. So make sure you get your dailies and Quest Log tasks done before 7pm tonight!!

We'll update if TNT gives any more detail!

UPDATE, 2:45 PM NST: TNT has posted this same update in today's new features and across social media, but without any further details.

Site Theme Alert!
On October 31st at 11:59:00pm through 11:59:59pm NST (only a minute!), refreshing anywhere on the Neopets site will get you the elusive Haunted Woods site theme. This is the only time of year you can obtain it, so don't forget to stay up! This should be available on any Classic site page and redesign page, but if you want to be safe, the homepage is confirmed to award it.
