TNT Fae has revealed that the next set of Pet Styles coming to the NC Mall are... Baby Plushies! This was revealed by way of applying one of the new Styles to her own Neopet, seen below:


No other announcements have been made yet, but the current set of Valentine's Pet Styles are set to leave the Styling Studio on March 18th, so presumably we'll see the new Baby Plushie styles (and possibly others) next week.

Today, an update for the Faerie Fragments mobile app has been released! This update launches the app's Tia's Seasonal Exchange event, which runs from today through approximately March 27th April 9th (the end date seems to have extended at some point today).


The event is similar in mechanics to what we've seen before. Clear levels, complete daily quests, collect bronze coins, and earn in-app prizes, including more tokens to unlock Ascor. There is also a paid event track with additional prizes for $6.99 USD.

You can also earn an exclusive item prize on Neopets.com—if you have NeoPass connected—during this event by accumulating 3,000 bronze coins. This means you'd be completing about half of the event track, so don't dilly dally if you plan on achieving this!

This morning, Tales of Dacardia received a small update to launch a "Prize Shop Compensation Calendar" to make up for the Valentines Day Donation Drive prize shop closing two days earlier than promised.

This calendar has 10 days of prizes, but is available through April 8th, so you can log in any ten separate days until then (including today!) to fully claim the prizes. The prizes will include both in-app prizes and past Neopets.com event rewards.

We apologize for the mistake regarding the Valentine's Day Donation Drive Prize Shop not being open for the aformentioned extra 48 hours after the event ended.
We have been trying to resolve this issue but unfortunately we are not able to open the prize shop back up for this event. We will work to fix this mistake in the future so that this doesn't happen again.

As a compensation, there will be a Daily Login Calendar running with items from the Valentine's Day Donation Drive Prize Shop, as well as items from past events. This login calendar will be available until April 9th at MIDNIGHT NST, don't forget to grab them!

Separately, Faerie Fragments went down for maintenance last night at 7pm NST. The message in-app says it will be up at 5am NST, though an alert on Neopets.com says it will be 5pm NST. Either way, perhaps we can expect an update there later today as well!

It's Gelert day! Here's what's new:

For those who'd like their Gelert to resemble real-world dogs more, Cog's Togs is now stocking new ear and tail wearables:


If your Gelert likes to play, some new stick and rope toys are stocking at the Neopian Garden Center (stick) and Toy Shop (rope toys):

And last but not least, a questionable new pie is available (per the New Features it should stock at Merifoods, but that is not currently the case):

TNT also addressed the controversial Burlap Mynci, and released an updated design:

We received some constructive feedback from Neopians who took the time to reach out, expressed their concerns respectfully, and helped notify and highlight that elements of the original design may have been interpreted as harmful. Inspired by the iconic Sock Monkey toys, we’ve listened and made some small adjustments.

Over in the NC Mall Styling Studio, a peculiar thing has appeared: a placeholder among the list of Neopet species with the name, Varwolf.


Some of you may remember the April Fools' Day joke from 2005, in which 50 new species of Neopets were "unveiled" as a joke. One of them ended up becoming a real Neopet, the Gnorbu. And others ended up as species of petpets.

One of them ended up as neither, and is named Varwolf:


A new unknown species has also appeared in the dropdowns of the Rainbow Pool. We've seen similar things pop up when TNT introduces a new colour, like Potato Chias, until the site gets updated with the new features that day.
