Event Overview
The Winter Starlight Celebration serves as the hub for a number of special winter activities and events. The celebration can be accessed by clicking the 'Explore' button on Neopets to view the drop-down, and selecting the Winter Starlight Celebration link. It is also linked from various featured activities, as well as on the bottom of the page for each Terror Mountain region.
Advent Calendar
The biggest part of the celebration is the annual Neopets Advent Calendar. Every day throughout the month, users can visit to collect a daily prize (or prizes!) and Neopoints. The calendar itself will feature something new each day — such as special animations, comics, colouring pages, digital wallpapers, and more! Past Advent Calendar days can be viewed here.
Starting in 2021, Reina — also the host of the Winter Starlight Celebration — has awarded an additional prize each day if you click on her when she pops up at the Advent Calendar.

Holiday Dream Neopet Giveaway
During the celebration, a special event is held where users have the chance for one of their Neopets to be transformed into the colour and species of their choosing. In recent years, entries have opened around December 9 and closed on December 20, with 40 winners announced and transformed on December 25.

Boosted Site Activities
Several activities around the site receive special boosts during the event.
Snowager
The Snowager is asleep throughout the entire month of December. Users can visit him and be guaranteed a prize once per day. Starting in 2025, Premium users also receive a second prize during this visit.
A new Snowager Charmer NC item was released during 2025. This item, when used, is said to increase user's chances of grabbing extra prizes. It also gives users the chance to receive the exclusive Snowager avatar, which is normally unavailable during December.

Random when getting blasted by the Snowager. (Any "blast" event is eligible for the avatar.)
When activated, the 2019 Charity Corner perk, Avatar Goldmine, increased the chances of obtaining this avatar.

Stocking Stufftacular
The Stocking Stufftacular is an annual NC Mall Event held during the month of December. Users can participate by purchasing Stocking Stufftacular Stocking Packs in the mall, and then hanging their stockings on the dates they choose. Once the date arrives, stockings can be opened to redeem that day's exclusive prize.

Gift of NC
The Gift of NC is an annual promotion in the NC Mall during the month of December, where users earn bonus NC based on the total amount they spend during the month. The bonus is awarded during the following January. Starting in 2025, users could also receive a special Gift of NC Gift Box.
