The Wheel of Monotony is located on the Tyrannian Plateau. It costs 150 NP per spin, and may be spun twice per day. The second daily spin was added on September 18, 2025; prior to this, the Wheel of Monotony could only be spun once per day.
Unlike other wheels, this one may take several hours to finish spinning and reward a prize—certainly living up to its name. Currently, the wheel consistently takes 2 hours to complete spinning, but previous versions could take anywhere between 2 hours and 9 hours to finish.
While spinning, you can still browse, play games, and chat in Neopia in another browser tab. However, you must keep the tab visible for it to continue spinning. (Minimizing or hiding the tab will not end the spin, but will pause it; closing the tab or browser in which the wheel is spinning will end the spin entirely, preventing you from being awarded a prize.)
You must wait for it to finish spinning to get a prize! You must also keep 150 Neopoints on hand while the wheel is spinning or you will receive a message saying that you don't have enough Neopoints to play once it stops spinning.
When the Quiggle to the side looks at his watch, it means that an hour has passed. You are halfway done!
Extra Spins
All players receive their first spin automatically. Simply click the wheel to activate the spin.
Active Premium players will also receive their second spin automatically; simply click the wheel again to activate the second spin.
Non-Premium players will need to watch an ad to receive their second spin. A button will be presented alongside the result of the first spin to launch the ad.

Using Boons
Certain factions give the opportunity of activating the Right Round Round Round boon if you side with them and they emerge victorious from the Battleground of the Obelisk. When selected, this boon allows you to spin the wheel twice before the usual waiting period comes into effect. You have to refresh the page after your first spin before you can spin again.
