Your jnAccount: Trick-or-Treating in Neopia
One of the most beloved Halloween events each year on Neopets is Trick-or-Treating. Every year, select citizens of Neopia hand out Trick-or-Treat bags to Neopians who visit them on October 31st. The bags can be opened to find treats inside, ranging from spooky foods to petpets to books and stamps. Each year usually has a few prizes exclusive to the bag mixed in with items found elsewhere in Neopia. Because prizes are involved, you cannot collect these bags on your side accounts.

In 2013, Neopians were unable to go trick-or-treating due to dealing with a monster invasion of the Spooky Eating Contest held that year. The monster was apprehended in the end and trick-or-treating resumed the following year.
