The Wraith Resurgence Plot Guide

Update 7/2: New dialogue has appeared at the Infirmary and Story So Far page. It seems Malum will be the next patient for Taelia to heal.

A new patient has been added to the Infirmary! Aiden the Skeith is asking for Concoctions VIII and IX (8 and 9). Again, completing the achievements requires 6 potion donations, from any combination of the two.


The One of (Every) Kind achievement remains unobtainable - however, we have yet to donate Concoction X so it is possible there is another Infirmary step yet to come.

UPDATE 1/2: The plot steps are back, and this time Malum is in the Battledome. Follow the link from the Headquarters page to find him at the Gypsy Camp, then battle him for achievements (he is difficulty 442 on hard mode). He is also dropping a new coffer NC item.


Between all the lag, earlier today a new plot step was briefly available. It is now removed and not currently available.

New dialogue was added to the Headquarters page regarding Malum - along with a link to find him at the Gypsy Camp. Going there appeared to award the Blazing Embers battledome item and an event showing Malum unlocked in the battledome.


However, Malum was never actually available at the Battledome. Two new achievements were added (which are still up) for beating Malum, and beating him on Hard (Mighty) mode.

The dialogue remains up, viewable via the 'Story So Far' page, but is no longer live on the Headquarters page.

We'll keep you updated if this step is readded in the near future.

A new patient has been added to Infirmary today! Nolan the Shoyru requires six potions to unlock all of his achievements - and will accept either Concoction VI and VII (6 and 7).


There's also new dialogue on the headquarters page. Our guides are now updated with the new information.

Yet another new plot step in the Wraith Resurgence today! This time, we're heading back into the Wild Woods again in search of Kaia, who has gone in alone against Aethia's orders.

After successfully navigating the maze, you'll find Kaia, and get a good look at the villain behind all this - Malum!


If you cannot find Malum/Kaia on the first try, the lockout for this version of the Wild Woods is 30 minutes.

NOTE: You'll also get a message about an Earth Faerie dropping something. This appears to just be an advert for a new mall superpack, not anything related to the plot.


There is also new dialogue in both the Infirmary and on the Story So Far page.

New steps are now active for the Wraith Resurgence! Murmur #4 is now live. This uses the 4th Kaia note on the left of the HQ page. The Faeries Chest now has 12 locks, and will unlock the 4th BD challenger - the Hulking Wraith, which drops the Wraith Blood needed for the new potions.

There only appears to be one fog location per potion currently. Potion VII will cure TDMBGPOP, Potion VIII Coltzan's Shrine, Potion IX the Tombola, and Potion X will heal the Fruit Machine.


This morning it appears TNT have implemented their fix for the cap on wraith ingredient drops in the Battledome discussed in the editorial. Caps have now been increased on all challengers, it appears by an extra 18 per ingredient -- making a total of 53 available drops per ingredient.


New fog locations are currently also live across Neopia, and new achievements are available, so it appears the 4th murmur will be made live shortly.
