The Void Within Plot Guide

UPDATE, JUNE 24TH 10:00AM NST: We now have reports that the Act I Fearless Deed "From the Very Beginning" may now have retired as of 10am NST on Monday the 24th, which is a full week since the plot began. The rest of the steps aside from this Fearless Deed remain achievable.

Today, page 4 of chapter 1 has been made available under the Story tab.

Viewing the message will grant you an additional +1 plot points along with the following item:


And reading all 4 pages of chapter 1 will complete the "From the Very Beginning" achievement for an additional +10 points.

As a note, the +11 points for reading page 4 and checking off the first achievement is still available on Monday, despite the achievement text saying "before the first week ends." If you haven't completed all of the actions yet, you still have the opportunity to do so. See update above.

MINOR GLITCH: Just a note about a small glitch. Currently, when you view another Neopian's userlookup, their trophy for the plot will display your current accumulated prize points, rather than the other users' points. This does not seem to have any negative affect on your own progress, just a visual glitch to keep in mind.

Today, if you view the hub page for the Void Within plot, a new message will appear. This update is also available as page 3 in Chapter 1 of the story tab.


Viewing the message will grant you an additional 1 plot point in the rewards tab. However, there is no additional item available for today's update.

Today, a new page to chapter 1 of the plot storyline has been added!


As with the previous page, if you click on each of the panels, a button will appear under the comic to claim a prize:


This will also earn you an additional 1 plot point in the rewards tab.

TNT is hosting a Neocash giveaway to celebrate the launch of the The Void Within plot.


As is usual now, this giveaway is being hosted via Gleam.

The giveaway is running from today, June 17th, and closes on July 17th at 10:00 AM NST.

To participate, you'll need to enter with your email (or a social media account like Facebook or Twitter to log in) and then provide your Neopets username. There will be three groups of winners:

• 10 winners (chosen randomly from those with at least 14 entry points) will get 7,500 NC each
• 15 winners (chosen randomly from those with at least 11 entry points) will get 3,000 NC each
• 25 winners (chosen randomly from those with at least 8 entry points) will get 1,200 NC each

The tasks are as follows:

• Enter "The Void Within" (takes you to the plot hub page)
• Follow-up quiz to the "The Void Within" (answer a question about the Chapter 1 comic)

• Get An Entry When One Friend Joins! (they need to use your referral link)
• Visit @neopetsofficialaccount on Instagram
• Follow @Neopets on Twitter
• Follow @officialneopets on TikTok
• Visit Neopets on YouTube
• Submit your prize from Trudy's Surprise (requires an image upload)
• Refer More Friends and Get Twice As Many Entries! (you can get points for referring up to 20 people)
• Download Neopets: Tales of Dacardia (does not actually require a compatible device; following the link is sufficient)

You can qualify for the highest prize without any referrals at all by doing all the other activities, but will increase your chances of winning with the extra entries from referrals.

To celebrate the release of the Void Within plot, a new selection of void themed Dyeworks are available until July 15th.


Although these items are themed around the plot, they are not required for participation.
