The Void Within Plot Guide

We're excited to announce that our customised Void Within plot checklist tool is now available!


As the Void Within plot unfolds, each week is bringing new tasks and opportunities to earn plot points. Our checklist tool has a full list of each individual task, whether it's still available or not, and how many points it's worth. Our "At a Glance" section also gives you a breakdown of how many points you've accumulated—and more importantly—how many points are still available to you right now. (Which will get trickier to discern as time goes on and more tasks become available and retire!)

All you'll need to get started is a jnAccount and a few mouse clicks to record what you've done already. Then come back each day to mark down any new completed tasks!

• Keep a checklist of each Void Within plot task.
• Tasks are grouped by type, and ordered by the date they became available.
• See which tasks may still be available for you to complete—and which ones you may have sadly missed out on.
• Find a running total of the maximum number of plot points available, along with how many points are currently available to you specifically. In other words, a custom list of plot progress catered to you!

Today, page 10 of chapter 1 has been made available under the Story tab.

Reading the comic will grant you an additional +1 plot point along with the following item:


Don't forget your daily Void Essence collection for a cool 50 Plot Points! They're currently still in Brightvale, Meridell, and Roo Island.

Additionally, Void Essence collection day 6 has begun today, so if you haven't missed any days yet, you can collect the weekly bonus prize after collecting your allotment today. This awards +20 plot points along with a random item from a pool of prizes.

This morning, a short video for The Void Within has been posted to the official Neopets YouTube channel:


The video shows animated scenes of some of the plot's events that have already occured. It begins by featuring the mysterious hand holding a mysterious paint brush that is currently featured as the event icon on the home page.


It then shows Nyx watching as Neopia gets grey-ified, and the tentacles featured in the December 27th Advent Calendar comic warp around the planet. It fades out with a closeup of the glowing pink orb featured in the same comic.

The title of the video is "Neopets: The Void Within - Official Trailer #1" so we can perhaps expect more trailers later on.

There is a notice at the plot hub encouraging you to talk to Baelia in Faerieland. After reading the dialogue there, you will be awarded 1 Plot Point, and the dialogue then appears as Chapter 1, Page 8.
