The Void Within Plot Guide

If you participated in the Battledome Guild Challenge, check your inventory! Prizes are going out to all participants. (To note, it doesn't look like neomails are accompanying this distribution.)

On Tuesday, TNT posted the final, audited rankings of the top guilds and top individuals:


(Notably, it looks like it took TNT so long to get the final rankings together as roughly half of the top individuals from the tentative rankings posted in the last week were frozen for cheating. Talk about a big clean up!)

However, you didn't have to simply place in the top rankings to get a prize: anyone who racked up +2,500 Battledome points during the event period will be receiving Guild First Aid Bandaid:


And when you play with it, you'll receive the following promised avatar:


The bandaid item can be played with and shared with your Neofriends as well. So if someone missed out on the event, you can lend it out to them.

A new Mystery Capsule was released at the NC Mall that gives access to retired The Void Within-related items that have been released during the plot.


Like other similar capsule releases, this one is also available in a 5-pack (containing 6 capsules) and 10-pack (containing 13 capsules):


The capsule also contains three new limited edition items that you have a chance of receiving!

Pages 9 through 14 of chapter 11 have been made available under the Story tab. Reading the comics will grant you an additional +6 plot points (if you're below the chapter point maximum), along with 2 new item prizes.

Also a reminder that this is the final week before the plot goes on pause again. You can view the full details on our earlier post. Note that, according to the FAQ, plot battles and Hospital shifts will not be available on Sunday, so make sure to wrap those up by Saturday if you are planning to use them to fill your chapter points.

According to the FAQ, today is the final date you can activate Plot Prize Fortune Cookies and Plot Points Fortune Cookies. It is also the last day you can get a full seven days out of Dr. Landelbrots Void Attractor Prototype; it can continue to be activated even as late as Sunday, September 28, but will only function through Sunday so you wouldn't be enjoying its full value.

The FAQ also claims all three items will retire from the Mall today, but at the time of writing, their retirement date is still set for September 28.

All three of these items will also be usable again when the plot returns, and so will likely return to the Mall at that time.

Monday, September 22

Saturday, September 27


This will be the final date to begin plot battles and volunteer shifts. This means these activities will NOT be available on Sunday, September 28! If you are counting on them to fill out your plot points, make sure you are wrapped up by the end of next Saturday! Battles and shifts that are started on Saturday can still be completed after Saturday, though it's unclear if they will still award plot points.

Sunday, September 28

This will be the final date to participate in daily void essence collection and collect comic prizes. The comics will remain readable during the pause, but will not award prizes.



This will also be the final date you can activate Chapter Meter Energy Boosters. The FAQ claims it will also retire from the NC Mall on this date, though at the time of writing it does not have a retirement date set in the Mall. Unused Boosters will be usable again when the plot returns.

Activities Available During the Pause


All of the plot games will remain available to play for item prizes and Neopoints, though will not award any plot points. This includes Voidworks, Cosy Campfire Collection, Tea Time With Tavi, Lost in the Dark, Doglefetch, and Attack on Altador. The avatars obtainable from these games will also remain available.

The prize shop will remain open and unchanged to spend plot points.

Plot battles and Hospital shifts that were started before the pause can still be finished, though new ones cannot be started afterward. It is unclear if they will still award plot points.

Fearless Deed achievements from Acts I through III can still be obtained, though it is unclear if they will still award plot points.

What to Expect for Episode 3
TNT does not specify precisely when Episode 3 will begin other than "towards the beginning of 2026." This is slightly less specific than the roadmap shared last month which specified "end of January" 2026.

The roadmap also specified "~6 weeks of new content and quests" when it returns for Act IV. The FAQ also mentions "restructuring" of Fearless Deed achievements, plot battles, and Hospital volunteering "to improve the plot experience."

A brief sale is going on at the NC Mall through this Friday, September 19.

First up, Deluxe Training Fortune Cookies are on sale for a 20% discount. As a reminder, these work the same as regular Training Fortune Cookies, but last for twice as long.


Additionally, plot-related NC items are on sale for 20% off.


Although the plot items will remain available for purchase through the end of The Void Within Episode 2 on September 28, according to the New Features the discounts will end after Friday, September 19.
