This morning, an official announcement, official website, and official support page for the upcoming mobile game Faerie Fragments have been added to the Neopets portal.
A short video trailer has also been posted to the official Neopets YouTube channel:
The video includes snippets of cutscenes, gameplay, story dialogue, and overworld story action. There appear to be some slight visual updates to the game, including the shapes of the tiles, which now seem to be based on Neopets species instead of Petpets.
This will be the fourth launch of the game, which originally launched as Neopia Studio in January 2022 then relaunched as Faerie's Hope in April 2022 and again in December 2022. It has been down for work to rebrand as Faerie Fragments since January 2024.
The official FAQ promises a reward of 5,000 coins after launch for users who previously made purchases in Faerie's Hope by submitting a support ticket with a receipt and your app user ID.
Pre-Registration
The game is expected to be available on October 16, 2024. It is currently available to pre-register in both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Additionally, Neopia Central seems to have finally turned grey to match the battle that began there a couple weeks ago!
