The plot is live again! As of April 28, 2026, the third and final episode is live. The plot runs until June 16th, so make sure you get your weekly plot points.
Gifts from the Rift
Along with the return of The Void Within for Episode 3, a Gifts from the Rift game was set up by Bart, which houses the plot's first complete NC Mall component. Special void cork poppers allow you to pop the strange bubbles that have started appearing from a rift in the void, and for doing so you'll receive prizes—no grifting here!

Obtaining Void Cork Poppers
Void Cork Poppers went on sale at the NC Mall starting April 28th, 2026. You do not need to buy separate cork poppers. Instead, you can buy cork popper packs individually or in bulk to redeem for only the items you want.
Void Cork Poppers can be activated from your inventory by clicking on the Void Cork Poppers pack and activating it via the item action dropdown. If purchasing through the event hub, they can be activated the in the same menu immediately after purchase.
Void Cork Poppers can be used on any wave of prizes, but the initial prizes will not be available after May 28, 2026. The final deadline to purchase Void Cork Poppers is June 29, 2026.
The Void Bubbles
Below is a map of all the void bubble locations and the day they correspond to for initial release of Wave 1, which is available through May 28, 2026:
Starting May 29, 2026, a second wave will become available and the bubbles will be reset for new exclusive prizes.
Prizes
After activating your cork poppers, head to the Gifts from the Rift page and click on the bubble you wish to pop. You will then receive your items immediately added to your inventory—one exclusive prize and one retired prize.
You can claim any day's exclusive item again, up to an unlimited number of times, provided you have enough cork poppers available.
The first wave of prizes are only available through May 28, 2026:

Different exclusive prizes will become available starting May 29, 2026.
A retired NC item is randomly awarded from a pool of 50 possible prizes when you pop a bubble along with the main prize. On the prize pop up, your retired prize will be the second prize listed (right on desktop screens, bottom on mobile screens), with the first prize being the normal prize. Here are the retired prizes:
The Peaceful Tree Garland, which is a permanent buyable in the NC Mall, was available from the pool until at least midday on May 5, 2026.
Premium Subscriber Rewards
Gift from the Rift is offering bonus prizes of an additional retired NC item from the table above for each day of collecting a prize to active Premium subscribers. To receive the prize, you must simply collect the daily prize.
On the prize pop up, your Premium prize will be the third prize listed, with the first prize being the exclusive prize and the second prize being the free retired prize:
Premium prizes can be duplicates! On any given day, your premium prize can be a retired NC prize you've already collected on a previous day, or even the same as the freebie retired prize for the day!
Bonus
For popping all 12 bubbles from the first wave of prizes, you'll receive the following bonus:
The bonus prize may be received in duplicate by popping each bubble an additional time.
