Chapter Meter Energy Booster

On September 8, 2025, at the midway point of Chapter 10, the chapter plot point limit was increased from 3,000 points to 4,000 points. In addition, a new item was released in the NC Mall to increase your chapter limit even further:

How to Use

Once purchased, this item can be activated from your NC inventory. Simply choose the "Drink" option from the dropdown. Upon doing so, you will be given a message stating your new point cap for the chapter.

Although the item's description implies you feed it to your pet, you simply activate it!

Attempting to activate more than 3 during the same chapter will result in an error. The item will remain in your inventory.

Effect

Drinking the Energy Booster will increase your maximum earnable plot points by 1,000 points for the chapter it is activated during. Up to three can be used per chapter, resulting in a maximum possible chapter cap of 7,000 points.

Restrictions

Any points earned above 4,000 are spendable in the Prize Shop, but do not count towards your trophy.

The additional points are not automatically granted; you still need to complete activities that grant plot points in order to earn the points. Any points not earned by the end of the chapter cannot be earned after the chapter ends!

Like all activities that earn plot points, it can only be used on your main account.

According to the official FAQ, they can be activated through Sunday, September 28.

Viewing the Point Cap

The updated cap will be reflected in the meter on The Void Within hub page.

A banner denoting how many Energy Boosters you've activated will also appear on all pages in the Void Within hub for the remainder of the chapter.

On desktop, the quantity is displayed by default; on mobile, you can see the quantity by tapping the icon.
