Valentine's Day, 2025

The Valentine's Day event began on February 14, 2025, and will last through February 28, 2025.

Daily Login Calendar

Starting on March 13, to make up for the prize shop closing earlier than promised, a second login calendar was launched. Although this calendar also had only ten days of prizes, it was available for 27 days through April 8th.

Event Quest

To activate the Donation Drive portion of the event, you must complete an introductory questline from Pan. This means you will need to have progressed the story far enough to unlock Pan by building the Lookout Lighthouse!

Donation Drive

Crabby Hopbobbin is once again calling for donations from Dacardia. You can help by donating any items you have in your inventory.

Items can be donated by visiting the Festival Plaza. Once there, click the button to open the event:

Then, click on the "Donate Now" button in the bottom right corner:

Here, items can be turned in for Crabby Tickets. These can be exchanged for prizes both in-app and on Neopets.com! The number of tickets an item is worth is based on its item type and rarity. You can earn a maximum of 200 per calendar day, resetting at midnight NST.

There are also a set of items that are "Bonus" items, and the three omelettes whose recipes you earn at the start of the event are "Super Bonus" items. These items are marked with a icon in the upper left corner of their image. Although these are worth more points than items of equivalent type/rarity, your daily maximum remains at 200 even if you donate them, so you may not find much advantage in donating them over other items you have surplus of.

The event also labels Simple Flower Pot, Island Head Statue, and Island Head Arrangement as bonus items, however, they are not actually worth any more points than other items of the same type/rarity.

How to Donate

Simply tap on any item on the lefthand side. You can use the tabs on the left to filter to certain types of items, but cannot sort the list overall. Bonus items will automatically appear at the top.

After tapping an item, you can use the slider to specify an exact quantity to donate, then press the yellow "Add" button.

The item will now appear in a box to the right. The total value of the item(s) selected will be displayed at the bottom of the screen. You can add additional items, up to 10 unique items at a time, each with any quantity.

When you are satisfied, press the green "Donate" button in the bottom right corner. Your items will be immediately removed from your inventory and will be credited with your Crabby Tickets! if you have more than 10 unique items to donate, simply repeat this process multiple times.

Milestone Prizes

Upon earning certain set amounts of Crabby Tickets, you will earn prizes either in-app or, if you have NeoPass connected, on Neopets.com.

You can easily view your progress towards these milestones at the event:

Milestone prizes will be awarded immediately and automatically after hitting the required thresholds.

Prize Shop

You can exchange your Crabby Tickets for both Tales of Dacardia and Neopets.com prizes. To receive the Neopets.com prizes, you must have both your Neopets.com and Tales of Dacardia accounts linked to NeoPass. At the time of release, all prizes were limit 1. Around noon NST on February 18, the limits were modified to the below.

The Donation Drive lasts over 15 calendar days. This means you can earn up to 3,000 for free, or up to 6,000 with a booster pass for the full event (see the next section for more info on this). The prize shop contains 2,850 worth of Neopets.com prizes, so all of these can be obtained without a booster pass. There are also 3,140 worth of in-app prizes available, making a total of 5,990 prizes available in the prize shop.

The prize shop will remain open through the end of the day on March 2nd. Any unused tickets will expire at this time.

Booster Pass

You can double your daily maximum limit from 200 to 400 by purchasing a Booster Pass.

There are two types of Booster Pass. The "1 Day Doubler" costs $2.99 (or local equivalent) and will double your limit for the date of purchase only, resetting at midnight NST. The "Daily Doubler" costs $14.99 (or local equivalent) and will double your limit every date through the remainder of the event.

Click the blue banner in the bottom right to open the Booster Pass purchase menu.

Event Resources

During the duration of the event, exclusive resources were available at three gather points.

These resources can be used to make three different omelettes. These resources count as Bonus items in the Donation Drive, and the omelettes made from them are Super Bonus items.
