Captain QuickFinger's Travelling Treasure Trove

Captain QuickFinger's Travelling Treasure Trove is a special store in Tales of Dacardia where you can exchange Pearly Neggs for prizes on Neopets.com!

Location

Captain QuickFinger is located on a sandbank on the left side of the overworld, just below the Lookout Lighthouse.

How to Buy

To purchase an item from Captain QuickFinger, first tap on him in the overworld. This will open an interface with his current stock.

Simply tap on the item you wish to purchase. You will be presented with a confirmation pop-up; hitting the green "Confirm" button will grant the reward.

Each item currently stocked can only be purchased exactly once! After you have purchased it, it will appear faded out with a green checkmark over it. Pressing it again will cause Captain QuickFinger to tell you that he has no more.

If you attempt to buy an item you do not have enough Pearly Neggs to purchase, a banner will appear at the bottom of the screen informing you. Pressing the orange "Get More" button on this banner will take you to the Premium Parlour.

Purchases at the Travelling Treasure Trove do not count towards the "Spending Pearly Neggs" achievements.

Availability

Although Captain QuickFinger appears to always be present around your town, his store is not always stocked. You can find a countdown to when his current stock will disappear at the top of the interface. (The text shown from the help icon says it will only be stocked for a week at a time, but this is not always accurate.)

While he has stock available, a treasure chest indicator will appear above his head.

When he does not currently have any stock, you can still open his interface, but will simply be greeted with a "closed" message.

It's not clear exactly how often Captain QuickFinger will have items stocked. It's up to TNT!

Release

Captain QuickFinger's Travelling Treasure Trove was first released in version 1.6.5 on April 16, 2025. However, at that time there was no stock in the store. The first stock of items appeared five days later on April 21, 2025.

The release was heralded with an announcement:

*whispers*
Ahoy mateys... Gather 'round, ye Town Planners...

I've plundered—er, SEARCHED for a fine trove o' treasure from the far corners o' the Neopian High Seas, and I'm willin' to part with 'em—for the right price, o' course.

Me shop's swingin' open its hatches fer 3 weeks only, from today 'til the 11th o' May... Keep a keen eye on the horizon—another shipment'll be sailin' in not long after.

Arrgh, I must make me getaway 'fore they catch wind o' me. But fret not—I'll be lurkin' about. Keep yer peepers peeled.
