Rich Slorg (Shop of Offers)

The Rich Slorg can be found at the Shop of Offers.

When you visit the page, an animated Slorg will be crawling across the page. It starts at the very bottom of the page, so you may need to scroll down to find it! The Slorg used to leave a slime trail behind it, though that seems to have been removed at some unknown time.

Clicking on it will cause the Rich Slorg to appear at the top of the page in a box styled like an old-style Random Event.

Rich Slorgs look like any other Slorg. Wealth whispers, as they say!

You can also skip the need to click on the Slorg by going directly to the redirect link you would access by clicking on it.

Reward

Your first visit on each calendar day will reward you with either 50 or 100 NPs added to your on-hand total.

Based on a little over 1,000 visits recorded by Jellyneo staffers, there is approximately an 80% chance of receiving 50 NPs and a 20% chance of receiving 100 NPs.

On any visits after your first visit of the day, the Rich Slorg will not appear and you will not receive any reward.

Shop of Offers

The Rich Slorg lives on a page called "Shop of Offers". This page used to host a collection of links and ads from Neopets sponsors. These links would include offers to reward users with Neopoints or other prizes in exchange for signing up or engaging with these sponsors in some way. Neopets would earn money from the sponsors for these engagements. A link to the Shop of Offers was even included on maps of Neopia Central between 2005 and 2009.

We're not sure precisely when the Shop of Offers was first released; it was sometime during the last week of September 2004. If you have more information on this, we'd love for you to let us know!

The clickable Slorgs were presumably created to entice players to visit this page full of ads, in the hopes that they might engage with a few. Although no offers have been displayed on the page in many years, the Rich Slorg continues to hand out Neopoints on a daily basis! The page was even converted to the mobile-friendly layout on January 9th, 2025.
