Restyling

Launched on May 15, 2025, Restyle Paints work like NC Upcycle Fortune Cookies to grant the ability to recycle old, unwanted Pet Style items, including Prismatics, in exchange for other Styles and potentially Styling Studio items.

To get started, you'll need to purchase a Styling Studio Restyle Paint item from the NC Mall, and already possess at least three Pet Style items located in your inventory or Styling Chamber.

Then at the Styling Studio, click to the Restyle tab, in black below:

Click the 'Start Restyling!' button to begin the process, then click the 'I'm Interested!' button to proceed.

Select the applicable Style items, including Prismatics, that you wish to exchange for each of the three dropdowns. Any tokens that are currently applied to pets or in your Safety Deposit Box will not be eligible to be recycled—they must be in your Inventory or available in the Styling Chamber. Then click on the Styling Studio Restyling Paint item icon to select it—it will appear with a green border, and click 'I'm Ready!' to receive your prize(s).

When you actually have Styling Studio Restyling Paint(s) it will appear with a quantity instead of the No symbol.

Prizes

In exchange for recycling your three Pet Styles items, you will receive one of the below rewards. Your choice of which items to restyle does not affect the prize.

• 1% chance: 1 random NPC Styling Item
• 1% chance: 1 Deluxe Styling Studio Supplies
• 98% chance: 1-3 Previously Released Style item(s) and potentially also 1 Styling Studio Supplies or 1 Styling Studio Prismatic Brush

The odds are high you will receive Previously Released Style item(s). Per the FAQs, excluded from those possible rewards are any style item that is always available from the Styling Studio, any style item released in the past month, and Prismatics. When getting this prize option, the specific odds are as follows:

• 18% chance: 1 Pet Style item
• 2% chance: 1 Pet Style item + Styling Studio Supplies OR Styling Studio Prismatic Brush
• 32% chance: 2 Pet Style items
• 8% chance: 2 Pet Style items + Styling Studio Prismatic Brush
• 40% chance: 3 Pet Style items

You will additionally receive 1 point towards filling your Style Meter for each three items restyled.

Style Meter

Each time you use a Styling Studio Restyle Paint and recycle three Style items, you will receive 1 point on your Style Meter.

The meter maxes out at 15 points, at which point you can select one exclusive NPC Styling Item. That means it takes 45 total Pet Styles items recycled to obtain a guaranteed item of your choice. The meter will then reset. You can fill the meter unlimited times.

While you can choose any above NPC style after filling the Style Meter, note that each can only be worn by the species indicated.

Previously Available Rewards

From restyling launch until January 15, 2026, the following previously-exclusive NPC Styling Items were instead available from filling the Style Meter.

Without communication, the following was removed as a potential prize on November 7, 2025.
