The Thirteenth Annual(ish) Neopies - 2025
The Neopies have returned once again, with voting running from February 1, 2025 through March 3, 2025 (with the last new category posted on the 28th). As in the past, Neopians will determine the best from the previous Neopian year. The 27 categories this year are selected by TNT, and the Neopies Host will present you with the finalists in each category.
To close out the Neopies celebration, the VIP Raffle for NC items returns starting on February 21st.
Voting
You have 3 days to vote in each category before the winner is announced, and there are 27 categories in total. Visit the official Neopies FAQ for the voting rules. Voting on the first day of each of the 27 categories being available will qualify you for a bonus final prize. 'Day One' will run for two days, from the 1st through the 2nd of February.

Day One - Best Site Event (Feb 1-2)
Advent Calendar
Last year's Advent Calendar was an absolute knockout! Emotional comics, fantastic prizes, and art-filled the void in people's hearts. With how much of a success this year was, it was inevitable to have it back in the running for a Neopies. However, there was an unfortunate disaster involving Orion's health. Queen Fyora wants to remind everyone that Orion will wake soon and wants everyone to celebrate earnestly for him, not despite him.

Faerie Festival
"Back once again, the Faerie Festival was a friendly competition between eternal rivals Illusen and Jhudora. The two raced to see who could collect the most donations. But when Orion was possessed by a mysterious singing entity, the two came together to save him. Teamwork was the game, and harmonising was their aim. Orion was saved, and Queen Fyora was amazed! Team Illusen was the winner, and everyone agreed that both Faeries were great singers."
Festival of Neggs
This Festival of Neggs brought everyone back to the lands of Faerie's. Neopians collected Negg after Negg, and thanks to all the great detectives, the Tuffala Petpet was discovered. Neopians searched all over for the little, big gal using Orion's visions as their clue. This event wasn't without tragedy, as Kari was drained of colour and turned Grey. Despite that, Kari remained the wonderful Negg Faerie we all know and love.
Trick-or-Treat
"This event was filled with tricks, treats, and horrifying scares. Some of the scariest stories were unearthed, each with a haunting flow. The playground singing of Lanie and Lillie, a Count's jovial macabre love for singing, or reminding everyone of Hox's admittedly catchy musical. It sang a shiver down spines and through everyone's candy bags. But none deafened the room like the appearance of a Chia. A Chia that lied there...MENACINGLY."
Day Two - Best NC Event (Feb 3)
Dip & Dye Neggs
Naia loved how vibrant and colourful the Neggs had become during last year's Festival of Neggs' Dip & Dye event. The three special Neggs looked good enough to be in an art gallery.
Free the Faeries
Aethia set up the Free the Faeries event, during which Neopians participating in the Faerie Festival tested their slingshotting skills. The faeries were grateful to be out of those jars as there wasn't mushroom in there.
Haunted Mansion
Neopians stuck together in the Haunted Mansion and were able to light up all of their Special Spooky Skull Candles to prove their courage. This Halloween event proved that nothing can scare Neopians when they've got each other.

Sweetheart Grams
Sweetheart Grams was another hit last year. The NM Offices were overflowing with all the lovely gifts Neofriends sent each other. As usual, Neopians know how to Share the Love.
Day Three - Best NP Item (Feb 4)

Day Nine - Best Plot Comic Moment (Feb 10)
Ch.1 Page 7 - Baelia Scene
Baelia returned despite all the tragedies she faced. Though she lost her wings, she smiled when the stars illuminated the night sky. The beautiful sight reminded us that there is always a reason to smile, no matter how complicated life becomes.

Ch. 4 Page 3 - Juni Awakening
Reunited, and it feels so good. Dr. Landelbrot was able to reawaken Juni and finally reunite him with Nyx after so long. Even though he had just woken up, the adorbale Faellie could still embrace his friend with all the strength in his tiny body.
Ch.5 Page 10 - Grey Painter Attack
Lashing out at his sister Nyx for abandoning him, the Grey Painter unleashed a fraction of his power. With a wave of his brush, he sent a tidal wave of grey paint that nearly led to the defeat of our heroes. Their resolves were shaken, but they knew Neopia would be lost if they gave up now.
Ch. 7 Page 16 - Patron Awaits
While Nyx and their allies recover from their losses, the villainous duo, the Grey Painter and Vira, meet with a mysterious patron. Someone who benefits most from the world turning grey and the chaos that comes with it.
Day Ten - Best Gift Box Mystery Capsule (Feb 11)

The Dead Chia Gift Box Mystery Capsule commemorates the Dead Chia, whose spirit bestows Neopians with gift boxes and valuable items.

It turns out that Rainblugs adore shiny gold things (who could blame them?), and they always seem to end up in a bucket of gold. However, please note that the shiny gold coins weren't real gold.
Day Eleven - Best New Plot Component (Feb 12)
Void Essence Collection
The void reared its ugly head one time too many across all of Neopia. Still, thanks to the community, the essences could be collected before any significant damage was done. Without everyone here participating in the Void Collection, who knows what may have become of the planet!
Volunteer Centre
Neopets worldwide banded together to aid the Neopian Hospital when it needed them most. Thanks to these generous volunteers, many Neopet lives were saved, and even more were able to adjust to their new colouration from the greying epidemic. We at the Neopies want to send a heartfelt message to all doctors and volunteers; we'd be nothing without you.
New Games
The Void Within crisis brought three new exciting games for all to play! These games were a great aid to the wayward heroes, with Dr Landelbrot's Voidworks creating the Void Dampener that freed Juni to Tavi, making homey and cosy campfires and delicious tea for all of her weary friends. Without these games, our heroic group wouldn't be as far as they are now.
New Battledome Opponents
Malevolent shades from the Void invaded Neopia all year all at the behest of their master: Vira. Voidlings, Prowlers, Wyrms, and Festering Void Remnants were running rampant. Still, thanks to reservists on the frontlines, the lands of Neopia were protected from their raids. This award would be for all those who fought bravely.

Day Twelve - Best NC Collectible (Feb 13)
Greyed-Out Collectible Kari Wings
The Greyed-Out Collectible Kari Wings were the second item from the Grey & Gloomy Collection. Despite their beauty, we can't help but feel sad when looking at it.
Rock Pool Collectible Goldy Petpet Handheld
The Rock Pool Collectible Goldy Petpet Handheld made life easier for Neopians who dislike lint rollers, stray fur, and nail clippings scattered everywhere. The love for Goldy is off the charts!
Day Thirteen - Best Dacardia Event (Feb 14)
Altador Cup
Neopia's biggest sporting event, the Altador Cup, finally featured the great Team Dacardia! Though they are still recovering from the horrific storm, Team Dacardia got home support, thanks to Lania Craigg and Ariel. They were cheered for at the newly constructed Altador Cup stadium watch party, and even the Crabby-Bots got to participate!
Donation Drive
Despite its own conflict, Dacardia still gathered donations for Neopians suffering from the rift. Thanks to Lania Cragg and the Town Planner, a sizeable amount of donations was put together, and aid was given to all the Neopets who needed it. The Dacardian team proved we're all in this together and that there is always a way to help.
Halloween
Dacardian locals love the holidays and showed their stuff in this year's Halloween spectacular! With Pumpkin Spice Omelettes and beautiful Halloween decorations, they had a party that was so great that Lania Cragg even joined in on the festivities!

Winter Festival
Talk about ending the season with a Dacardian twist! Lania, Ariel, Pan, the Crabby-bots, and all the Dacardian locals put their own unique flair on the Winter Starlight Celebration as they got to celebrate the holidays!

This year, Chadley's hilarious prank put a smile on everyone's faces. Even if they didn't understand what was happening, they still smiled. I couldn't stop smiling! Chadley wanted to remind everyone who signed the contract that the Smile Withme fanbase needs you to prove your "loyalty and admiration" by voting for this avatar.
Dead Chia
It's a morbid prize with less-than-savoury means, but the Dead Chia avatar is memorialised by the thousands of Neopians who proudly wear it to this day. To get this avatar, Neopians had to resort to extreme measures that many Chias weren't happy about, though they've started to come around. Winning this category would help.

Devoted Caretaker
Dedicated healers, supporters, and volunteers kept Neopia going this year. Their help at the Neopian Hospital was precisely what the doctors needed. Those volunteers received a badge of honour for their help, an avatar they wear with great pride. Here at the Neopies, we'd celebrate them with a beautiful award.
Neopian 1k Edition
Thanks to its readers' commitment to print, the Neopian Times released its 1000th issue. Starting as a humble newsletter, the Neopian Times has stopped at nothing to spread the news of Neopia, and 1000 issues is no small feat. Here's to 1000 more, with hopefully even more cool avatars!

For submitting your vote in each category, you will randomly receive one of the following items. If you vote in more than one category at once (if you are a day late in voting), then you'll receive more than one item.
New in 2025: TNT has implemented a no repeat prizes rule, meaning once you receive one of the items below, you will not receive it a second time. This means you'll slowly have a better chance at the remaining prizes as the event goes on.
Premium Subscriber Rewards
New in 2025: For the first time, the Neopies will be offering bonus prizes for each day of voting to active Premium subscribers. To receive the prize, you simply must vote in each category during each category's 3 day voting period.
On the prize pop up, your Premium prize will be the first prize listed (left on desktop screens, top on mobile screens), with the second prize being the normal voting prize (from the list above):

If you're not a Premium member, then you'll receive only one item prize from the regular pool of prizes above. You'll also see a button that allows you to see the possible Premium bonus items encouraging you to sign up.
If you do decide to become a Premium member, then you can go back and claim the Premium bonus prizes for any categories that are still open for voting even if you already voted. Once a category closes and the winner is announced, you may not claim the Premium bonus prize.
