No-Technology Rule

[noʊ tɛk'nɒlədʒiː ɹuːl] - noun

A previous rule concerning submissions to the Neopian Times. Despite the name, it did not actually state that writers couldn't write about ANY kind of technology; rather, it specified that you couldn't write about any electronic, electric or petrol-powered gadget that had not already been confirmed to exist in Neopia.

The rule has since been heavily relaxed for the competition, and most technology can now be referenced.

Example Usage:

"Ratbags! My story got rejected for breaking the no-technology rule. Maybe I should have axed that security camera in Chapter Three."
