A popular fizzy drink. It is said to have a very strong taste that many people and pets dislike.

Example Usage:

"We've located the programmer responsible for the glitch on Friday and made sure he'll be drinking nothing but Achyfi for a week!"

(1) The name of a small pink Bruce who appears in Random Events. He used to be capable of changing your Neopet to the Baby colour, but his powers were removed in early 2014.
(2) To turn a Neopet into a baby pet via the old Random Event.

Example Usage:

(1) "I like showing off my Pirate Poogle on the Neoboards, so I'll just keep my fingers crossed I don't see Boochi..."
(2) "I used to have a lovely Royal Shoyru, but she got Boochied last month. I'm saving up to repaint her."

Chokato

[tʃɒ'kaːtoʊ] - noun, adjective

(1) A Neopian fruit (or vegetable -- the definition seems to vary) with a distinctive blue and brown spotted skin.
(2) A Neopet colour, with the same pattern as the fruit. Currently only the Kiko and Chia can be this colour.

Example Usage:

(1) "There are lots of Neopian foods with chokato as an ingredient."
(2) "I'd love to have a Chokato Kiko. They're just so unusual!"

Darigan

Darigan

['dærɪgæn] - adjective, noun

(1) A colour Neopets and Petpets can be painted, inspired by the spiky-looking pets native to the Darigan Citadel in Meridell. Darigan pets tend to be dark colours, such as purple, deep blue and crimson, and to have prominent claws or spikes.
(2) From, about, or belonging to the Darigan Citadel.
(3) The Darigan Citadel as a Neopian land.

Example Usage:

(1) "My Buzz is going to be painted Darigan soon!"
(2) "Darigan toys are always rather scary-looking."
(3) "Darigan declared war on Meridell in Year Six, under the leadership of Lord Kass."

Faerie

One of the magical beings that help keep Neopia running. They have the appearance of winged humans. Smaller ones are sometimes trapped in bottles, and will teach your Neopet spells for the Battledome if released.

Example Usage:

"Illusen is the Faerie who watches over Meridell."
"Bottled Faeries make a good present for special occasions."

The name that was originally given to the Neopet now known as the Buzz.

Example Usage:

Abbreviation for "Forgotten Shore Map". The collectable nine-piece map that must be put together to gain access to prizes from the Forgotten Shore daily activity.

Nothing to do with the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Example Usage:

"I know everyone else has bought the FSM by now, but I'm waiting to see if I can win the map pieces for free."

The name of the queen of Faerieland, a powerful magic-user. Frequently used as a substitute for words that have too much religious context to be exclaimed on the Neoboards.

A place where Neopets who are hurt or sick can receive help. Visit every half-hour for a chance of a cure. The Springs are located here.

Example Usage:

The name originally given to the Neopet now known as the JubJub.

Job

[dʒɒb] - noun

A task assigned by the Faerieland Employment Agency. Pets (and their owners) will be asked to buy specific items for the Faeries, then hand them in for a reward. Unlike the real world, "jobs" are not most owners' main source of income in Neopia.

Example Usage:

"I can't believe I missed out on getting a job AGAIN! It gets so busy at the Employment Agency..."

A special item used to qualify for more demanding jobs at the Faerieland Employment Agency. The higher-level jobs can give bigger rewards, but also take more Neopoints to complete.

A versatile substance found on Kreludor, Neopia's moon. Although known to be somewhat unstable and hazardous, it is still used in household objects such as floor tiles and ornamental figurines.

"Freaky Factory is a game where you have to place blobs of liquid Kreludite in vats of the correct colour."

(1) An abbreviation for the Secret Laboratory, which can be reached using a special map and used to change pets' stats and appearance.
(2) To use the Secret Lab's powers on a pet.

(2) "I'm labbing my Usul at the moment. She turned Pink yesterday!"

The working name given to the Neopet now known as the Gnorbu. The original name was a joke and never intended to be the pet's real name.

A small pink Petpet from the Haunted Woods, often thought to be plotting evil because of its uncanny staring eyes. The Neopets Team often jokingly blame unexplained or unexpected technical problems on Meepits.

Example Usage:

"We're not sure why last week's Random Contest didn't work properly, but we think we've got all the Meepits out of the system now, so please try submitting again if your entry wouldn't go through!"

The working name given to the pet that was eventually released as the Lutari. Unlike some older Neopet names, "Mok" was simply a placeholder name and never intended to be used seriously.

MSPP

[ɛmɛspiːpiː] - noun

(1) Abbreviation of "Malevolent Sentient Plushie Poogle". Malevolent (meaning "evil") Sentient (meaning "able to think") Plushie is a colour so far only available to Poogles, and only via the Lab Ray.
(2) The secret avatar obtained by having the Trading Card Malevolent Sentient Poogle Plushie (TCG). By extension, that card itself.

Example Usage:

(1) "So, my Poogle is an MSPP now! It wasn't what I expected, but I'm in two minds about whether to zap him again."
(2) "Will you lend me your MSPP so I can get the avatar?"

A collection of stories and articles about life in Neopia written by the Neopets Team. Although the name "Neopedia" is probably an abbreviation of "Neopian Encyclopaedia", the Neopedia also includes a certain amount of fiction, faerietale and speculation.

Example Usage:

"Have you seen the horror story about Old Lady Doppel in the Neopedia? I read it when I was a newbie and I couldn't sleep that night!"
