Using NeoPass

To access NeoPass, simply navigate to account.neopets.com. (The neopass.neopets.com subdomain is used only for creating NeoPass, not for using it!)

From here you can choose which game to log in to.

To log in to Neopets.com, click the orange "Launch" button underneath your accounts.

You will then be taken to a secondary page, where you can choose which of the accounts you want to use by clicking on it. Afterward, press the "Continue" button.

The page will then reload briefly, before redirecting you to the Neopets home page with all of your pets!

NeoPass is not currently hyperlinked anywhere on Neopets.com, so we recommend bookmarking account.neopets.com in your browser. If you have Premium, it can be added as a custom daily on your Premium toolbar.

Changes on the Site

In addition to its features, NeoPass introduces a few small tweaks to the site.

You will not be able to log in through the normal form. If you try, you will get an instructive error message telling you to use NeoPass instead.

You should use the NeoPass button underneath the log in form instead!

Some settings pages will be modified accordingly. The Account settings page will direct you to NeoPass. The Email settings page will simply display your NeoPass email address, removing the module to change it. The Profile settings page (where you can change your userlookup) will require you to log in to NeoPass in a pop-up window to make changes rather than type a password on the page.

The Account settings page will now direct you to NeoPass to change data.

Gift Boxes will also require you to log in to NeoPass in a pop-up window rather than enter your password in the inventory.

Notice this gift box asks only for a PIN and not a password; you will be prompted to enter your NeoPass password in a pop-up window after pressing the "Give Item!" button.

You will no longer enter a password when checking out at the NC Mall. Instead, clicking the "Buy Now" button during checkout will open a pop-up for you to log in to NeoPass.

Non-NeoPass accounts would normally need to type out their password before proceeding.
