About NeoPass

NeoPass is a feature that unites all of the various Neopets games, including your main and side accounts on Neopets.com! It's a Single Sign-On (SSO) service for all Neopets games and apps.

Although the use of "Pass" in the name might suggest to some gamers that it is a paid feature, it is completely free! Think of it as short for "Password".

Supported Connections

NeoPass is currently supported for below sites and games. All of these can still be used without NeoPass, but may have some limitations.

Neopets.com
Tales of Dacardia
Faerie Fragments
Neopets Shop
certain Recommended Fan Sites

There is also planned future support for World of Neopets.

How to Sign Up

The process for signing up for NeoPass is the same whether you already have Neopets accounts or not.

You can sign up for NeoPass by simply navigating to neopass.neopets.com, which will look something like this:

You can then click the black "Sign Up" button towards the bottom to begin the three-step process.

Step 1: Verify Age

First, you'll be asked to verify your age by entering your birthdate.

Step 2: Set Email and Password (or Connect Social Account)

Second, you'll need to enter your email address and choose a password. The password must meet the following restrictions:

8 to 72 characters
At least one each of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and these symbols: !@#$%^&*
Cannot be a "common" password. This is checked against a hidden list of inadvisably simple passwords.

Alternately, you can connect a third party account. Currently, Google, Facebook, and Apple accounts are supported.

Step 3: Verify Email

Third and finally, you must verify your email. To do this, a six digit code is sent to your email address, which you must enter back on the NeoPass page. You can have a new code resent for any reason, but must wait at least 60 seconds before doing so. This code is valid for 10 minutes only, so don't dawdle!
