Negg Effects
Neggs are food items that you may feed to your Neopet. Most are just food, but there are also a number of Neggs in Neopia that have special effects on your Neopet when fed. These effects can range from adding stats to your pet to giving you items or abilities.
Many Neggs with special effects are available at the Neggery, located in Terror Mountain's Ice Caves. A complete listing of Neggs that are available at the Neggery is below. To gain Negg Tokens to purchase these, you'll have to turn in other Neggs that you find through shops and random events. It's up to you if you want to get a Negg by using Negg Tokens or simply buy it on the Trading Post or in a shop. Token values are different for each Negg so make sure you do some research before buying, which our Neggery Purchase Guide can help with.
Neggs that affect faerie abilities now do nothing. When
faerie abilities were revamped in early 2013, Neggs stopped being able to grant ability increases. You will still receive a message that your pet has "gained a new ability" but in reality, nothing will happen.
