Mystic Mushroom Effects

A long time ago, Mystic Mushrooms were an inexpensive way to train your pets due to their constant stocking in a shop called The Apothecary. The shop was officially closed on March 20, 2002.

While you can't buy these 'shrooms from an official shop anymore, some still have an effect on your Neopet. You can still purchase them from other Neopians via the Shop Wizard or Trading Post. However, most of them are incredibly rare, so they will come with a hefty price tag!

There are two different types of Mystic Mushrooms: ones that do things to your Neopet (such as heal them extra or give them stat boosts), and ones that simply act as food for your pet (which always gives a 1/12 HP heal, so don't count as an extra effect).

Green Healthshroom
Heals 100% of pet's HP
Green Toadstool
Nothing or gives Itchy Scratchies
Level Up Shroom
+1 Level
Mega Power Plusshroom
+1 HP, strength, or level
Poisonous Mushroom
Gives Neopox
Purple Spotted Shroom
Heals 3 HP, +1 HP, or +1 strength
Strength Shroom
+1-3 strength
Super Fast Shroom
+1 movement
Toxic Shroom
-1 HP, or +1 HP, or gives Bloaty Belly, or heals 2 HP & cures any disease
Yellow Healthshroom
Fully heals with a 3 HP overheal, and can cure any disease
