To receive it, you simply need to have one of your Neopets play with the item Nostalgic Neopets Arcade Background (and yes, it's considered a toy):

You find a flashy exclusive Void Arcade avatar!

This item isn't consumed upon use, so it can be lent and shared among all of your Neofriends. (And it's wearable, too!)

Rare Item Code

The background itself is available from redeeming a Rare Item Code that is exclusive to physical editions of the game.

Nintendo Switch

For physical Nintendo Switch games, the code is on a purple "DLC" card inside of the game packaging.

PlayStation

Codes for physical PlayStation games are intended to be printed purchaser's receipt (for in-person purchases), or provided electronically (for online purchases). However, at launch no codes were distributed with physical PlayStation copies. Per TNT, Users who purchased a physical PlayStation copy and did not receive a code should email [email protected] for a resolution.
