Mechanical Neggs
Kari is handing out three special Mechanical Neggs for the Neocash component to this year's Festival of Neggs. Using Neggbot Tinker Kits from the NC Mall, these items can be unlocked to grant bonus NC prizes! The event runs from April 9th and was originally scheduled through April 23rd, but later extended through April 30, 2020. It was first stated that it may not be completed on side accounts, but that later changed. For full details, please refer to the official FAQ.
Neggbot Tinker Kits
Tinker Kits will be released over the course of the event, allowing the unlocking of three Neggs! The three kits are Spyder, Sound The Alarm and Rainbow Ray, and each must be purchased for their respective Neggs. (You can't purchase the same Tinker Kit twice to open different Neggs.)
Tinkering
In order to activate a Mechanical Negg, you must visit the Mechanical Neggs page with the Mechanical Negg and corresponding Neggbot Tinker Kit in your inventory.
Then, click on the corresponding Negg cup to place it on Doctor Neggistential's workbench. Once you have placed your Negg, you can 'unlock' it using Neggbot Tinker Kit from the NC Mall to gain exclusive NC prizes.
Each Mechanical Negg contains a set of five prizes, and the prizes are given out in the same order to all Neopians. Each Neggbot Tinker Kit only works once for all five items and only with the corresponding Negg. When you unlock the full set of 5 prizes from a Mechanical Negg, you will receive a bonus item.
You may tinker with a Negg only once per day during the event, but if you missed prior days, you can make up for those days by tinkering multiple times in one day to receive past prizes (but no more than the number of days/prizes you've missed).

Prizes are awarded daily, when upgrading the Negg you're currently tinkering with.
