Haunted Woods Hunt
The Haunted Woods Hunt is a new daily activity released on November 26, 2025, alongside the Varwolf mini plot.
Location
The Haunted Woods Hunt can be accessed by clicking on this unmarked location on the Haunted Woods map or, of course, with a direct link.
Gameplay
There are five objects to click on. Clicking each one offers a chance at an item prize.
Premium members can click all five objects twice a day automatically. Non-Premium members can click the five objects once automatically, and a second time after watching an ad.
Prizes
Each object offers a chance at one of the following prizes. You are not guaranteed to get a prize from each one! Each clickable object is able to offer each type of prize.
As you search the clearing for more interesting and intriguing objects, you come across something that could be delicious... or could be really gross. It's hard to tell with the Haunted Woods, sometimes.
Oh well. You're sure one of your pets will enjoy it... probably.
Oh no. It looks like someone lost their beloved toy! You decide to take it with you hoping you can find its owner...
...But then you realise it's broken. Maybe it's not such a good idea to find out what played with it so roughly after all...
Something strange catches your attention. You aren't quite sure what it is at first, but upon closer inspection...
Now this is an odd find. Who just leaves a Battledome weapon lying around like this?! You decided to take it with you in case someone more nefarious comes along. You never know in a place like this...
As you search the clearing, you catch sight of something glittering under a thick tree root. When you get closer, you realize it's a Bottled Faerie! Does that mean Balthazar came through here...?
You decide to take the bottle with you before he can come back to collect it.
There are plenty of strange objects here that seem to be little more than litter, but for some reason this piece of crumpled-up paper catches your attention. You go to pick it up, thinking about how someone really should install a trash can here...
But then you realise: this is a piece of a treasure map! Wow, what luck!
Something's moving in the bushes. At first, you think maybe it's not a good idea to get too close, but then you hear it make a noise -- a sad little whine, almost inaudible over the howling wind.
You decide to investigate, and find a Petpet curled up and shivering in the brush. Pool thing, it must not have anywhere to go...
There are additionally three special prizes rarely won here which can be used at the Cooking Pot to create something needed to complete the Varwolf quest.
There's an odd - looking mushroom on the ground . It seems to be... thrashing about ? When you get closer, you realise it's actually eating something rotten off the ground! Gross!
...But it could come in handy, so you decide to take it with you.
As you search the woods for anything of interest, you catch a whiff of something sickly sweet and sour... and when you approach, you realize it's a Mound of Rotten Fruit. It doesn't look particularly appetizing, but you think you might be able to find a way to put it to use anyway.
You continue your search through the Haunted Woods for anything of interest, and, paying more attention to the branches above your head, you don't realize there's something soft and squishy in your path...
SPLAT! You step in what appears to be a rotten, blackened pumpkin, or at least a piece of it. It's gross, but something compels you to pick it up anyway -- pumpkins are pretty common in the Haunted Woods, so maybe having one with you will help signal to any spooky, scary creatures that you're actually friendly?

Nothing Found Texts
When you click an object and find nothing, these are the possible messages you'll see:
Something on the ground catches your eye, and you move to pick it up...
...But a feral Meowclops quickly runs up and makes off with it. Better luck next time!
Something scurries underneath one of the clearing's thickets. You chase after it, but the thorns are too thick and dense to push aside. Maybe it's for the best; you could have found something dangerous...
Something smells... off. Against your better judgement, you follow your nose to the source...
...Yeah. That was a bad idea. You decide to leave whatever you smelled alone, because the stench is making you ill.
You go to pick something unusual up, but at the last second you notice whatever it is is resting in a large paw mark -- and there are claws attached. You decide to leave it alone in case it belongs to the owner of those great claws.
You reach out to pick up one of the peculiar objects on the ground, but realize that it was nothing of interest after all. These woods must be playing tricks on your eyes...
You decide to rest a little bit and try again later.
You stoop down to pick up one of the strange objects on the ground, but before you can touch it, a large claw snatches it away. You debate going after it, but you hear loud snarfing, slurping, and snarling... Best stay away from whatever it is!
You try to make your way deeper into the woods, but you step in something squishy, smelly, and gross. Eugh! Better clean it off before you go any further.
