Gift of NC
The Gift of NC is an annual event in the NC Mall which rewards bonus Neocash for spending NC at the mall during a specified date range over the Holiday season. The official FAQ is here.
How It Works
By spending a certain amount of Neocash in the NC Mall during the dated period for the year, bonus NC is awarded after the event ends. During the event, your progress will be tracked in the meter going across the present pictured, with your qualifying total spend indicated beneath and bonus to be awarded shown above.
The current Gift of NC period is December 4th, 2024, through January 14th, 2025. Rewards will be paid out on approximately January 18th, 2025.
High roller, comin' through!
The bonus reward tier has been the same for many years:
- 3,200 Bonus NC when you spend 50,000 NC or more
- 1,700 Bonus NC when you spend 35,000 - 49,999 NC
- 1,300 Bonus NC when you spend 20,000 - 34,999 NC
- 650 Bonus NC when you spend 10,000 - 19,999 NC
- 350 Bonus NC when you spend 5,000 - 9,999 NC
- 225 Bonus NC when you spend 2,500 - 4,999 NC
- 175 Bonus NC when you spend 1,000 - 2,499 NC
- 100 Bonus NC when you spend 500 - 999 NC
Since 2011, when you make a qualifying purchase in the current year period, you'll be awarded an additional bonus of 50 NC for having participated in the event in the previous year. This amount will show up immediately, being awarded separately from the tiered bonus, with the following text appearing in the Mall on the order Confirmation screen, and also as a neomail:
Bonus NC! Because you are a loyal shopper and participated in The Gift of NC last year, this year you have received 50 Bonus NC for making a purchase in December. This amount has been added to your NC total. Happy shopping!
Previous Years
Below is a summary of when the Gift of NC ran in each prior year, along with a few of the bonuses from earlier years.
2023
The event ran from November 29th, 2023, through January 4th, 2024, with the final bonus awarded on January 8th, 2023. Some people reported receiving more NC than the brackets indicated.
2022
The event ran from November 29th, 2022, through January 4th, 2023, with the final bonus awarded on January 6th, 2023.
2021
The event ran from November 22, 2021, through January 5, 2022, with the final bonus awarded on January 7th, 2022.
2020
The event ran from November 27th, 2020 through January 4th, 2021, with the final bonus awarded on January 6th, 2021.
2019
The event ran from November 29th, 2019 through January 3rd, 2020.
2018
The event ran from November 23rd, 2018 through January 3rd, 2019. The double bonus NC issuance occurred again, and users were allowed to keep the extra NC.
2017
The event ran from November 30th, 2017 to early January, 2018. The final bonus was awarded on January 8th, 2018, however some users were awarded double the bonus NC amount in error. To make things fair, TNT issued the double bonus prize to all who had not yet received the extra-extra NC on January 16th, 2018.

The event ran from November 27th, 2015 to January 3rd, 2016.
2014
The event ran from November 28th, 2014 to January 4th, 2015.
2013
The event ran from December 1st, 2013 to January 4th, 2014.
2012
The event ran from November 30th, 2012 to January 3rd, 2013. There was a slight delay with the scripts and the bonus NC was awarded between January 9th-11th, 2013.
2011
The event ran from December 1st, 2011 to January 3rd, 2012. This is the first time the 50NC bonus for participating in this event in subsequent years was awarded.
2010
The event ran from December 1st, 2010 to January 4th, 2011. Additional items were awarded for those who spent at the highest tiers.
2009
The inaugural event ran from December 1st, 2009 to January 4th, 2010. Additional items were awarded for those who spent at least 20,000 NC.
