Kari, the Negg Faerie, is hosting this year's Festival of Neggs again! Starting on April 9th at 10:00am NST, Kari began looking for the stolen neggs hiding around the site, and when found, awarded Neopians with a choice of spring-themed items. The event will run for 15 days with the first 1.5 days counting as one, running through April 24th.
Negg Locations
When visiting the Festival of Neggs page for the first time this year, you are greeted with an introductory message:
Kari: "Oh, welcome. Happy Festival of Neggs! You haven't noticed anything strange around here, have you?"
"I was all set to take the lead this year since Topsi decided to play hide-and-seek and no one's seen him in weeks. I wonder if anyone's actually looking for him? Anyway, more importantly, since he left the stand unattended, someone or something has stolen most of the Neggs before I had a chance to hide them."
Click on the green "Just try and stop me!" button to join the event. The Negg Gazer is assisting finding the missing neggs by sharing his visions and providing clues from the main Neggfest page. After findng neggs at the locations below, you will be offered the choice of one of three random Neggs for your efforts (there are five possible Neggs, but you will only have a choice of three per day).
Negg Collection Tip: If the location of a Negg is a game or a daily, make sure to collect your prize from Kari first. The prompt to collect your prize may disappear if you play the game or complete the daily first.
April 9th/10th
Clue: I see... I see: a throne. Upon which a King appears to have the blues... Or he IS blue. Hard to tell.
Location: Grumpy Old King
You sneak a look under the throne and find a stash of Neggs!
Kari exclaims, "Wow! You sure are a smart little Neopet. I'll get these right back to the Negg Cart. Please, pick whichever Negg you'd like!"
King Skarl growls at you, "Begone! Far too many have been snooping underneath my throne for one day."
April 11th
Clue: I'm seeing giant heads... on a mysterious beach. Does that mean anything to you?
Location: The Beach
In the mouth of one of the monuments, you find a stash of Neggs!
Kari claps excitedly, "Yay! Here it is! Choose your Negg!"
Underneath the statue is a tooth... Or a claw. It's hard to say which.
April 12th
Clue: I hear a voice. It's saying, "Slickety-splat, did you see that Darblat?" What is this? Some kind of game?
Location: Dar-BLAT!!!
One of the Darblats relinquishes a stash of Neggs!
Kari shivers, "Oh how n-n-n-neggtacular! Let's get out of the c-c-c-cold but first take your p-p-p-pick of these Neggs!"
The Darblats look scared and scuttle away... Something spooked them.
April 13th
Clue: I can see a ship that doesn't sail... And a sale that only accepts golden dubloons.
Location: The Golden Dubloon
Hidden under one of the tables is a stash of Neggs!
Kari smiles, "Another stash! We're doing great! Take whichever one you like."
The bartender croaks, "No Neopet gets out of here without paying their tab. That scallywag was no Neopet."
April 14th
Clue: This tree has a mind of its own. Literally... And you can see it! Eww.
Location: Brain Tree
Behind the tree you unearth a stash of Neggs!
Kari looks around, a little spooked, "Great find but we shouldn't linger. This tree gives me the creeps. Which Negg would you like?"
The Brain Tree booms, "Don't be a fool! Some monsters are both old AND new!"
April 15th
Clue: Oh dear. I can feel the Dark magic of a purple Faerie in Faerieland.
Location: Jhudora's Bluff
Jhudora laughs and hands you the stash of Neggs!
Kari glares at the Dark Faerie, "Thank you. We'll be on our way, then. As soon as you choose which Negg you'd like."
The Dark Faerie says, "Take it. I have no need for such springtime nonsense. I explained that to he who came before."
April 16th
Clue: What desert tomb has a puzzle?... that IS the puzzle.
Location: Sutek's Tomb
A secret compartment opens and inside is a stash of Neggs!
Kari dusts sand out of her wings, "Wow! Well done. I'd have never guessed that. Which Negg do you want to keep?"
It would take a lot of strength to open this compartment... A lot!
April 17th
Clue: I am walking into caves of a primeval world. There are markings made on the walls. Almost... Artistic.
Location: Tyrannian Cave Painting
Covered in dirt, you pull out a stash of Neggs!
Kari looks inside eagerly, "Yes! There are lots of Neggs here. Go ahead and pick your favourite."
There are deep, four-clawed footprints leading to and from the hiding spot.
April 18th
Clue: I hear the sifting of scrolls in Brightvale.
Location: The Scrollery
You sift through a sack of scrolls and find a stash of Neggs!
Kari counts them out, "Oh there are plenty of Neggs! This'll go a long way. Take whichever Negg you like!"
A Battledome scroll is torn up next to it. The thief clearly has issues with the arena.
April 19th
Clue: At the bottom of a lake... To find them, you'll need to take some kind of tour.
Location: Glass Bottom Boat Tours
On the tour, you spot a stash of Neggs and dive in to retrieve it!
Kari waits on the shore, "Thanks for diving in after them. I'm not the best swimmer. Ooh! So many. Choose the Negg you'd like to take home."
Brrrr! It's freezing in this lake.
April 20th
Clue: I seea city in the cloud... And mmn! Something smells tasty.
Location: Culinary Concoctions
Hidden in plain sight among the ingredients, is a stash of Neggs!
Kari checks the contents, "These Neggs aren't for eating but they'll be great for our festival. Pick a Negg to keep."
The chef shrugs, "I didn't get a good look. I remember orange and purple."
April 21st
Clue: I can hear a lot of Grundos at work. I think it's in some kind of storage space.
Location: Grundo Warehouse
The Grundos look too busy to notice the crate filled with the stash of Neggs!
Kari looks relieved, "Oh thank Fyora we found these ones. They're some of the best! And you can choose the one you like best."
The Fore-Grundo shrugs and checks his clipboard, "I didn't see anyone. This crate was marked "Keep away from the Negg Protection Team" whatever that means."
April 22nd
Clue: The thief left some luggage at this Neopia Central Resort.
Location: Neolodge
Among the luggage left by previous tenants is the stash of Neggs!
Kari checks the Neggs, with enthusiasm, "Ooh! We'll do great with these ones. Which would you like?"
The concierge looks confused, "Strangely, no one remembers the guest checking in but he put "Shenkuu" under the return address."
April 23rd
Clue: You must glide... Underground.
Location: Cave Glider
You glide down and snatch the stash of Neggs that was left hanging on a stalagtite!
Kari flaps down next to you, "Great catch! Now, let's see. Which Negg would you like to keep?"
Among the Neggs, is a piece of the Ancient Negg Amulet.
April 24th
Clue: I see a moon. And miners. They're diggin for something...
Location: Kreludan Mining Corp.
In a recently dug pit, you find a stash of Neggs!
Kari checks the Neggs are all acounted for, "Yeah! They're all here. You found the last stash! We're going to have the best festival ever thanks to you! Please, take one."
There's a note written crudely in dirt, "You think me the Neggbreaker? Hihi-hi! No. Big bro is back. And big bro doesn't break Neggs. He Negg-naps!"
Negg Prizes
Finding each of Kari's Neggs on the first day they are available will grant a bonus at the end of the event, signified by gold checkmarks on the main event page next to each clue. All Neggs will remain available for the duration of the event and can be collected in any order after release.
After selecting a Negg, you will be rewarded with a prize specific to that Negg type as seen below:

Final prizes for participating in this year's hunt became available on April 25th, 2020. To claim them, you must visit the Festival of Neggs hub (they were not automatically awarded with the last hidden Negg).
For collecting all 15 Neggs on their release day, you will receive the following items:

As a new bonus this year for finding all Neggs on release day, all of the Neggs were awarded as actual items. No notice appeared, but they showed up in your inventory after visiting the Festival page to collect your final prizes.
