Profile Icons: Frames + Avatars
In Faerie Fragments, you are represented in various places by an icon with a frame around it. These icons are referred to in the app as avatars, though have no relation to the avatars on Neopets.com.
Several frames and avatars are available by default, while others are unlocked through aspects of gameplay or events.
Selecting Your Avatar & Frame
To change your avatar or frame, tap on your icon in the upper left corner of the overworld screen.
This will take you to a menu where you can change your avatar or frame. You can change each by simply tapping on your choice then pressing the green "Save" button. Avatar and frame changes must each be separately saved.
Only avatars and frames that you have unlocked will appear here. There is no way in the app to view any that you may have missed out on (or not yet unlocked).

Where They Appear
Your avatar and frame choices appear in a few places. The only places where other people will see it is in your guild interface, as well as in the Airship Expedition and Guild Grapple bonus activities. It will also appear in Endless Mode rankings, but only visible to others if you are in the top 20.
