Endless Challenge
Endless Challenge is a different way to play Faerie Fragments than usual path of level progression, offering a single board with a potentially never-ending series of objectives. Clearing these levels earns you points, which at the end of a one-week participation period can qualify you for prizes depending on your placement against other players.
Schedule and Timing
Endless Challenge runs on a two-week cycle: 7 days for play followed by 7 days to claim prizes. The cycle restarts every other Thursday at 9am UTC (not NST). This corresponds to 1:00am NST during US standard time (early November to mid March) and 2:00am NST during US daylight saving time (mid March to early November).
You can find the schedule for the current and next three cycles below:
- Apr 2, 2:00am – Apr 9, 2:00am NST (claim prizes Apr 9, 2:00am – Apr 16, 2:00am NST)
- Apr 16, 2:00am – Apr 23, 2:00am NST (claim prizes Apr 23, 2:00am – Apr 30, 2:00am NST)
- Apr 30, 2:00am – May 7, 2:00am NST (claim prizes May 7, 2:00am – May 14, 2:00am NST)
- May 14, 2:00am – May 21, 2:00am NST (claim prizes May 21, 2:00am – May 28, 2:00am NST)
You can participate in Endless Challenge twice per day, also resetting at 1:00am NST during US standard time (early November to mid March) and 2:00am NST during US daylight saving time (mid March to early November).

Your progress on each difficulty is independent; advancing levels on one difficulty does not advance you on the others! You can see how many levels you have cleared in the upper left corner of each difficulty's box.

Notice I'm at different levels on each difficulty!
Level Progression
The first 30 levels of each difficulty serve as a bit of a ramp-up period. With each successive level, you will have slightly fewer moves and a slightly higher objective quantity.
Starting with level 31, your set moves and possible objective quantities become static.
Every fifth level is what we call a "Challenge" level. These levels will have an even lower number of moves and even higher objective quantity than other levels. For example, Level 34 on Hard could be activating 5 Bombs in 18 moves, but Level 35 could be activating 7 Bombs in 16 moves!
Objectives
Each level will have one of several possible objectives. The quantity of the objective varies by difficulty. Each level's objective is random, although you will not get the same objective two levels in a row.

Earning Points
Upon completing a level, you will receive points according to a formula:
(base points for objective + objective multiplier × unused moves) × difficulty multiplier
As an example, imagine you finished a level on Medium difficulty where the objective was "Create Any Special Tile" with 4 unused moves remaining. The base points for that objective is 25 with a move multiplier of 5, and the difficulty multiplier for Medium is 2, so you would receive:
(25 + 5×4) × 2 = (25 + 20) × 2 = 45 × 2 = 90 points
The math for this formula is displayed somewhat rapidly towards the top of the screen at the end of each successful level.
Strategy
Although Hard difficulty offers the by-far highest multiplier, the levels become quite challenging. You may find that you can score more points overall on Easy or Medium.
Leverage Nova Rods on both Create and Activate objectives. Special tiles that are created by combining a Nova Rod with a special tile do count towards the objective! For example, you may be able to create or activate all the Bombs you need for a level by simply combining one with one Nova Rod.
If a certain special tile is not part of the objective of your current level, avoid activating it if you can. For example, if you have a Bomb on the board but your objective is to clear basic tiles, try to leave it on the board until the next level, where you may need it for the objective!
Leaderboard and Rankings
A live leaderboard is available while Endless Challenge is active. The rankings on the leaderboard are determined by cumulative total points earned from any number of attempts during the currently active period.
The leaderboard will display to everyone the names, profile icons, and cumulative scores of the top 20 players. It will also display your personal rank and cumulative score, but only visible to yourself.

You can swipe up to see the rest of the top 20.
During the break period while Endless Challenge is not active, the final leaderboard remains visible. You can access it by pressing the white arrow to the right side of the screen.
Prizes
At the conclusion of the 7-day active period, different prizes are available to claim at any point for one week during a break period afterward. Prizes are based on final player ranking based on cumulative points earned during the previously active week.
Prizes must be manually claimed in the Endless Challenge interface by pressing the green "Get Prize" button. If prizes are not claimed before the next active period begins, they are forfeited!

When prizes are available, the icon says "Results" instead of a countdown.
Unlike normal levels and Tower Mode levels, there are no rewards as you clear each level; there are only rewards from ranking at the end of the week.

Neopets.com Rewards
Prizes for Neopets.com are only available for the top 100 ranked players each cycle. These prizes are intermittently changed by TNT, usually in tandem with an in-app event.
Neopets.com prizes are always available and awarded through the app alongside in-app prizes since the cycle beginning on February 19, 2026. Prior to this, Neopets.com prizes were only sometimes available, and awarded manually by TNT well after the cycle completed rather than automatically through the app.
Current Neopets.com Prizes
Below are the currently available prizes, which has been available since the cycle starting April 2, 2026.
An in-app announcement claimed these prizes would not be available until the cycle starting April 30, and a different set of prizes would be available between April 2 and April 29. However, this announcement appears to be inaccurate.
Past Neopets.com Prizes
These prizes were available for the cycle starting February 19, 2026, through the cycle ending April 1, 2026.
These prizes were available for the cycle starting January 22, 2026, through the cycle ending February 18, 2026. Prizes were awarded manually by TNT without notification on March 5, 2026.
These prizes were available for the cycle starting December 11, 2025, through the cycle ending January 7, 2025. Prizes were awarded manually by TNT without notification on January 13, 2026.
