Negg Tree

The Negg Tree is a weekly bonus activity where you can claim some free rewards with the option to pay real-world money for even more at a relatively cheap rate compared to the Store.

You are able to claim these prizes every week. The week resets on Mondays at midnight NST during US standard time (mid November to early March) and at 1am NST during US daylight saving time (mid March to early November). A countdown to this reset will appear on the overworld icon and in the upper right corner of the Negg Tree interface.

Accessing the Negg Tree

The Negg Tree becomes available after completing Level 23. You can access it by clicking its icon in the top right corner of the overworld screen.

The icon will display a countdown to when the Negg Tree next resets.

Mechanics and Rewards

The Negg Tree has five tiers of rewards; each one can only be claimed if the ones previous to it are already claimed. Attempting to claim one out of order will present the message "Claim previous offer to unlock". These rewards are the same every week.

Once you claim a tier, its button will disappear and be replaced by a green checkmark.

Only one of these tiers (the third one) costs $1.99 or your equivalent local currency to unlock. The other four are "free" although the fourth and fifth are not truly free since they require purchase of the third. The Negg Tree is thus a bit of a gimmicky way of offering a weekly freebie plus an offer for a relatively cheap paid bundle, and could instead be thought of more like this:

Is the Negg Tree considered a good value? Compared to options in the Store it seems the answer is yes, but also depends on what you are interested in!

As a point of comparison, the paid portion of the Negg Tree gives you 3,200 for $1.99, while at the Store that exact same price would buy just 1,000. And that's not even factoring in the booster and power-ups!

Most of the "Gift" bundles in the Store offer much more than the Negg Tree in terms of boosters and power-ups, but are much more expensive than the Negg Tree. While there is no perfect direct comparison, you may nonetheless find these "Gift" bundles are a better value for your money due to bonuses like unlimited lives/boosters rather than the Negg Tree's fixed quantity.
