Faerie Fragments Mobile App Guide

UPDATE, June 30th ~8:15PM NST: The app appears to be back up & running for Android devices!

It's not just you! Faerie Fragments has been non-functional on Android devices since early this morning. Attempting to open the app will hang on the loading page, cycling through placeholder names for the fun facts normally shown.


No resolution is currently known. iOS devices are currently functioning normally.

We'll update this post when the issue is resolved, or if TNT makes a statement.

Following a period of maintenance, a new update was released for Faerie Fragments on Thursday morning. You may need to proactively update the app through your device's app store; you will not be forced to by the app itself!

New Event
Another in-app event has started: Gone Fishin'! The event runs from today through July 15, with the prize shop open for an extra week through July 21.

The event is similar in mechanics to what we've seen before. Clear levels, complete daily quests, collect Bronze Coins, and earn in-app prizes, including more "Fragments" to unlock Ascor.

There is also a paid event track with additional prizes for $6.99 USD (this will increase to $9.99 after the first two weeks of the event).

You can also earn an exclusive item prize on Neopets.com. If you have NeoPass connected and earn 3,000 Bronze Coins during the event, you will earn a new exclusive item.

Daily Stamp Card Prizes
To celebrate the Altador Cup, the Daily Stamp Card will be giving out some AC team keychains for logging in—it hasn't been announced when this will run for, but the soonest could be starting next Tuesday, June 23.

Today is the final day to earn Bronze Coins and unlock threshold prizes from the Tia's Seasonal Exchange - The Curtain Rises event in Faerie Fragments. This includes the event-exclusive Ascors Actor Chair.


According to the in-app timer, the prize shop will remain open for you to spend Bronze Coins through Tuesday, June 16. However, today is the last day to earn Bronze Coins and threshold prizes, and there are no more Neopets.com item restocks currently planned.

Wheel of Prizes
The opportunity to watch three daily ads in exchange for some in-app goodies has been pulled out of the Store into its own feature: the Wheel of Prizes! (Yes, that's the same name as the Wheel from Tales of Dacardia!)

Alongside this, the Store now once again offers a "Daily Surprise" freebie no strings attached like it did before ads were introduced to Faerie Fragments.

Today is the final day to earn Bronze Coins & Faerie Dust and unlock threshold prizes from the Enchanted Egg Hunt event in Faerie Fragments. This includes the event-exclusive Light Faerie Lunch Box.


According to the in-app timer, the Hatchery activity and the prize shop will remain open for you to spend Bronze Coins and Faerie Dust through Tuesday, May 5. However, today is the last day to earn Bronze Coins, Faerie Dust, and threshold prizes, and there are no more Neopets.com item restocks currently planned.

As promised in the April newsletter, the NeoPass Weekly Quest Prizes have updated today. (If you visited earlier this morning while Quest Log was under maintenance, it is now back up!)


According to the announcement, these will be available for just this week and next week (today through April 26). The 20,000 NP prize for weekly NeoPass quests has also been temporarily removed, so you are guaranteed six (not necessarily unique) items each week. The weekly bonus for completing all six quests has also been doubled to 100,000 NP.

The event is similar in mechanics to what we've seen before. Clear levels, complete daily quests, collect Bronze Coins, and earn in-app prizes, including more "Fragments" to unlock Ascor. It also sees the return of the Hatchery feature from last year's instance of the event.

There is also a paid event track with additional prizes for $6.99 USD (this will increase to $9.99 after the first two weeks of the event).

You can also earn an exclusive item prize on Neopets.com. If you have NeoPass connected and earn 3,000 Bronze Coins during the event, you will earn a new exclusive item.

The event also includes a prize shop. This functions similar to the previous event, where prizes are not only limited to 1 per item per player, but also an overall total per item per restock.

Badge Collection
This update also introduces a new feature: Badge Collection!

This feature allows you to collect "badges" for completing certain gameplay milestones. A new set of Achievements has been added for collecting certain numbers of badges, which comes with new in-app and Neopets.com prizes. Some badges are always available, some are seasonally available, and others are available only for the duration of a specific event.
