I zapped my NeoPet with the ray gun, how do you get it back to its old self?

If your NeoPet has been zapped or transformed in anyway (including using magical items), you have to find another paintbrush or potion that will turn your NeoPet back to the way it was. Alternatively you could always try the ray gun again.
