I am noticing a slight increase in artwork and items featuring a petpet called Talpidat. These little burying, negg eating creatures are cute. But I'm trying to imagine what their appendages are like. Are they fins? Or are they like part slug? Or do they just trail some sort of magic essence? ~ smudgeoffudge
I’m glad you think Talpidats are cute! (as one of the artists that helped create this little creature hehe ♥) These little guys are part feline and part amphibian, so they do sometimes have a slime-like coat on their bodies to protect their coats, like an axolotl, which helps them bury a little bit faster and can sometimes leave a little trail behind if they’ve been up to some mischief. And this has been TNT’s The Most Extreme - PETPET EDITION!

I somehow only *just* today read the text on the main page for the Igloo Garage Sale: "Mika and Carassa are Chias who have lived on Terror Mountain for years and years, however it's been SO cold lately that they have decided to move somewhere with a more tropical climate." It's been over two decades and these poor chias still haven't been able to move to a warmer place!? More than twenty years ago, I remember creating my very first Neopet, a Red Kacheek named Cutiepie (from back when they were still pink!). I remember playing through stories and plots and playing all kinds of games, to the point I would sneak away while on vacation to check on Lost Desert plot updates! And now I'm here getting to write those stories and help design those plots. How crazy is that?! I'm grateful every day that I get to work on something that I love so much, and that I can bring that same magic I felt as a kid to you all today. How will TNT be addressing the impending Yellow Chia abandonment crisis? Will there be social services available for all the unhoused Chias? Many of these Chias have also been neglected and will need both physical and mental care. Who is going to pay their medical bills? ~ calpico

Hello! Thank you for more adorable baby colors! I have two small requests for you regarding them ;; Since the white is more of a gray color, could it perhaps be renamed so that we can have a more solid white added in the future? I think a lot of users would love a white similar to a white pb ^^ Also, it is a shame that we cannot use the black body paint with the baby barbat costume! I have done the Advent Calendar every holiday season since I was 7 years old, and it means a lot to me that this site is still going so I can keep up this tradition. One thing I like to do during Christmas is feed my Neopets lasagna, because that’s what my family ate in real life during Christmas dinner. Maybe someday, can we get a holiday lasagna item for the Advent Calendar? I think I’d cry happy tears if we did <3 ~ zehlua

Hi there TNT! hands you some snow faerie cookies I collect Taelia items and I see with the quest log refresh you've put Taelia Plushie as a weekly, which is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, but would there be ANY chance you could also include one of her other items as well? Taelia the Snow Faerie (TCG) is so, so much harder to find than the plushie you've included and is the LAST thing I need for my gallery! Hello, TNT! I have two questions for you about the Wishing Well that I'm hoping you can answer :) Does the amount of NP you throw into the Well affect your chances of getting your wish granted at all, or does everyone have an equal chance of winning no matter how much they donate? And, for as long as I can remember (and I've been on Neo for almost 2 decades), the Wishing Well page has claimed that the Well grants wishes 4 times a day... but it actually never has. It only grants them twice a day. Now, twice a day is still really nice! Not trying to sound ungrateful! But could either the text or the Well please be updated so that it's accurate again? Hello! The amount of NP you toss into the Well is not going to affect getting your wish granted or not. And you’re right! With the Wishing Well granting wishes 2 times a day, the page has been updated to read “the well sleeps for 12 hours a day” to help make that distinction clear! Hi item team! We love love love the burlap color and adore all of the recent releases.. that being said, customizing burlap pets can be a little limiting. That got me thinking.. wow.. how are there no pin cushion themed wearable items for these otherwise homemade stitched pets? A few pins won't hurt them.. they're made out of burlap! ~ rascle90

Dear Editorialists, I am distraught. I acquired a Lava Puddle -at great risk to my person-, for the purpose of placing it under my glorious new Nostalgic-styled Darigan Wocky (~thaaanks~) to give them that most menacing of glows. But the item does not show up for them - even though other background items do. *holds up my dejected demonic feline* How is the poor thing supposed to take over the world and bring about the end of all things when they do not even have that menacing glow? I do not know if this is a thing that can be fixed... but if it could be fixed, it would bring about great things! Thank you for your consideration. Yours truly til the end times. Hello! This Lava Puddle is quite special- the ground is broken up to a certain defined shape and its uniquely sized for each pet to be centered right at the core in order feel the lava rising up and warming their feet and (possibly) singeing their fur. So while it is a background item, it is placed per pet individually. This is unfortunately why this item does not pair with your Nostalgic-styled Darigan Wocky. We are very sorry to hear how distraught you are, but please know we DO want your Neopet to have a menacing glow. We are making a note to create an extra-special lava puddle that ALL pets can wear in the future! Thank you for writing in.

Can we get some quality of life updates to the Volunteer Centre, such as a "complete all shifts" button? A singular event for all pets completing their shifts rather than an event for every single pet (currently five!) would be great too. ~ yoshiswrath

Speaking for the Poetry Contest, by the time duplicate submissions and unoriginal works are filtered out of the submission pool, we are often left with many of the same users for each contest! We try to ensure individuals are not published in back to back collections, but often in order to provide a consistent number of poems each poetry day, we often have repeat poets from contest to contest. To help us with this, we encourage you to encourage your Neofriends to submit entries for these contests, so we can feature more and more new poets and artists! The Chomby Comb is classified as a Grooming item, but can't actually be used to groom your pets. Can you teach our pets how to operate it properly? ~ liegelord_enforcer
