Hi TNT! *gives you a plate of warm chocolate chip cookies* I've been experiencing an ongoing issue with the games room, where my scores won't submit. Whenever I try, it just says that my score is "processing," and stays that way until I give up and refresh the page (which is sometimes over fifteen minutes). It's not that I need the Neopoints so much as the checkmark for my daily quest log. Do you have any suggestions? ~cadetbush

Oh no! We’re sorry to hear this is happening. We looked into it and our suggestion is that in the meantime, while we are investigating how to fix this, we suggest using a different browser other than Safari/iOS as it seems to be isolated to these browsers right now. Hope this helps!

Hello lovely TNT! Would you folks mind adding more 8-bit/Maraquan/Baby/Mutant versions of the handheld pride flags this year? I greatly appreciate the inclusion of so many options for the basic body type and would love that range of options for more pets! I'd also love to see more versions of the other pride varieties (maraquan rainbow heart pride sunglasses, 8-bit pride shirt, mutant rainbow pride scarf) if you all have time before June, but no pressure! Hi! Alice is out during the month of February, and another team member is picking the entries for the Art Gallery. For Kacheek Day, the new judge picked old entries from the backlog, and some of them already entered before, making them not eligible to enter again. The same happened to today's gallery, where only entries from 2022-2024 were picked. Following Alice schedule posted in the Art Board, today was supposed to be a Random Day gallery, but only Zafara arts were picked. Zafara Day art gallery is only next Tuesday (February 4th). What I ask is that the new judge picks only recent submitted entries, like Alice does. Also, that they pay more attention to the schedule establish for the Art Gallery, otherwise will be useless to participate on the Art Gallery during February. I ask this because lots of players dedicate lots of time and effort to make new arts for the Art Gallery, and by picking old entries from previous years make that effort pretty much useless. You’re correct, the TNT member who regularly runs these contests is out for the next month. As such, new TNT members have taken over running the Art Gallery and Beauty contests while they are out. Due to this being their first time running these contests, there will obviously be learning curves and human errors, so we appreciate your understanding during this time! Hi TNT! :-) I recently have been having so much fun customizing my Pets and really enjoy looking at how creative other Neopians can be from past winners. I was trying to vote in the current contest and noticed that the pet pictures are really small when going through them. Maybe one day could they be enlarged so voters can fully see how much goes into each customization? I would appreciate it so much! Thank you! ~x_lori

I just want to compliment you on the flood of excellent NP backgrounds we've gotten lately; since March of 2024, we have gotten as many NP backgrounds added to Mystical Surroundings as we did between September 2014 and January 2024. As someone who lives in graphic tees and band shirts in real life, I'd like to be able to put them on my Neopets, and I'm disappointed to find that there kind of aren't normal T-shirts or any kind of band shirt wearables. Would it be possible to make the old Uni's Clothing / Concert Hall T-shirts wearable, or make new ones as NP items? There are 2 items named sprig of mistletoe, one is furniture and the other is wearable. Two very different price points. This is very confusing - can one be renamed? // Terror Mountain Gong is an instrument, but it cannot be given to a Pet to play. Can this be fixed? ~bella_island_girl

I've been having a really rough time lately, and I wanted to give thanks to TNT for working so hard on making Neopets a really great and supportive place to be. I've made a lot of neofriends who have changed my life. ~mango_

I want to thank TNT for making Holiday Lasagna. For those who don't know, I asked in Issue 1021 if we could have some lasagna for Christmas. From 2002 to today, I've saved up my NPs to get my Pets lasagna every Christmas, because that's what I ate with my family. I'm grown now, and my family is no longer with me. Hello, just wanted to share my appreciation for the Christmas Prismatic Styles! I think the designs chosen are quite charming and refreshing spins on their classic Christmas looks. My personal fave is the different shades of cyan and teal as accent colors on the white Tinsel pets. Per Day 17 of the most recent Advent Calendar, did Pan stay with Honcho in Altador, or did he go back? When is that comic set relative to where we are in Tales of Dacardia? Honcho surely must've wondered at his commitment to Pan as a husband, considering Jazan and Nabile decided to come to the Council together but not him and Pan. ~kaljinyu
Oh, yay, we get to talk about Dacardia! These are all excellent questions. First off: Pan was out of Dacardia when the Great Dacardian Storm happened, on one of his archaeological digs. After Pan heard about the storm, he headed back to Dacardia but unfortunately got lost at sea for a while – it was the Town Planner, Lania, and Ariel fixing Lookout Lighthouse that helped him find his way back!
While Pan was lost at sea, Honcho was summoned to Altador. Honcho and Ariel had been sending letters back and forth, so Ariel probably told Pan where he was. Of course since he missed his husband, Pan went to go visit him for the holidays!
So Pan ended up spending part of the holidays with Honcho in Altador. He had to come back to Dacardia to help with the restoration while Honcho remains in Altador, though. Hopefully they’ll be reunited at home soon!

Hello! Several years ago I wrote an article for the Neopian times about how Neopets really helps me out as an autistic person but it was rejected as it discussed a real life topic. I didn’t realise at the time how bad that was! To be silenced for daring to discuss something I was born with and cannot get away from. Ive been on a long hiatus and just came back to the game. Is it okay to discuss being autistic yet? I would love to know what the stance is now. ~dissiechrissie
Hello! First off I would like to sincerely apologise that this happened to you. While I can’t speak for the decisions of past teams or editors, that shouldn’t have happened to you then and I can promise it won’t happen to you now. As long as a story fits all parameters of a submission and breaks no rules we will happily take any stories with mention of autism and neurodiversity in general! (Just so the current editors don’t yell at me later for making blanket promises (/lh) I want to clarify this is not a promise that you or anyone who enters a submission with these topics will get published, just that we would never turn away a story for those reasons. /gen)
Being able to see yourself in stories (especially your own stories!) is so important! And while this may not be able to make up for past pain, I hope you and others can take some joy in some of the items we’ve been working hard to create for Neopets lately. Such as the Autism and Neurodivergent Infinity Shirts that came out twoish years ago in our Accessibility Line for Wearables and Items. We are also working to continuously expand that line with more items every year!
I suppose all of this is to say that Neopets's stance has certainly changed, and we will continue working to make Neopets a place where everyone can feel welcome and safe! /gen ~~ Stone

While Darigan Neopets may be well known for their fierce nature this does not mean that every Darigan is always looking for a fight. Just like you may encounter a Baby Neopet who will bite ya head off if given a chance, there are plenty of Darigan Neopets who would gladly take a hug when offered or cuddle up with someone they cherish. Heck, there are even Darigan Neopets who are always ready for a fight, but also love to be pampered! The amazing thing about Neopets is that each one is unique in their very own way, and we are so lucky to be given the chance to learn their distinctive personalities! My brother has heterochromia and virtually no games out there allow you to customise a character with that. Seeing the heterochromia contacts in the NC Mall got him back into Neo because he could finally make an Eyrie that looks kind of like him. Sure, he doesn't have a gold eye, but still, it's the most representation he's ever gotten in any game. Last night we were talking about how now, kids with heterochromia who find Neopets will get to grow up knowing people who look like them are at least *possible* and *exist*. In a lot of fictional settings, they don't. Thank you to whichever artist or artists suggested that item and made it a reality. Even if it's one colourway, that's still so, so much more than any other game bothered with. It really brought a lot of joy to my brother and, I'm sure, to a lot of other people. I hope the artist(s) who came up with this know they're awesome. ~ 3am_dragon

I think that items like the Blue Sparkly Headband should be in the static category and not in the hat/wig side of things because I've got a few different hairstyles that would look incredible with it and desperately wanted to make the suggestion that it be recategorized! In particular I think it would look incredible with the Light Faerie Wig and the Cursed Banshee Wig and compliment them really well, it's just a bummer they're in the same category and can't be paired together ~ dragonchild42

Hi TNT, I returned a couple of years ago from a hiatus and I noticed that there are several avatars related to codes received at conventions. I have bore witness to the chaos the last SDCC Shoyru Arcade avatar brought. Is it possible to release these avatars without having them count towards the high score table (i.e. Premium Avatar, Tales of Dacardia Beta avvie)? Since they count towards the high score table, they act, in some capacity, as "pay-to-win" elements of the site. ~ mickey_a94_a39

First of all, extremely belated welcome back! c: Unfortunately it is baked into Neopets' history to have these sort of “if you weren’t there” type of avatars and such, (which has personally haunted me, as well as a long-time user!) so the TNT team has tried to continue to uphold some of these older traditions, BUT we are trying to do better every day for the userbase & this has been a topic of discussion a LOT amongst all of the fun new things we’ve released this year, so making certain avatars not count towards high score tables is something we will absolutely continue to consider when releasing future avatars!

Hello, I Got a Question That It really has Got me Wondering For a While: We all Know that there are Certain Pets that have Food Allergies, Such as Skeiths being Allergic to Cheese, Kyrii Being Allergic to Apples And Tonus to Neggs, But If Skeiths are Allergic to Cheese And can't eat anything with the word "Cheese" In the name, Why they can Eat any other Dairy Products Like Milk Or Yogurt? is there a certain Ingredient in Neopian Cheese that Skeiths can't digest? ~ kasi18286
What a gouda question! While Skeiths should brie careful about not consuming cheese, dairy products in general are much feta for them! They aren’t lactose intolerant, but just have a cheese sensitivity- so they need to keep sharp and find cheddar options on the menu!
