Hi Adler, Since Stylish Studio revealed Swashbuckler Pirate Varwolf, that means Pirate Varwolf is coming to Rainbow Pool soon. Its been bit over year since Varwolf came and it gets pirate color but Vandagyre that has been here almost 12 years doesn't? I've been asking Pirate Vandagyre for years, 4 years ago i even made design idea for it, check Neopiece_Luffy's petpage and see few Pirate related item ideas. I hope this years Talk like a Pirate Day or Vandagyre Day we finally get Pirate Vandagyre. ~neopieceluffy
Hello neopieceluffy! Thank you for writing in. We are aware that Pirate Vandagyre does not yet exist, but rest assured, we do indeed have plans to add this PB for the upcoming Vandagyre Day! I restock in the Chocolate Factory, and occasionally wearables show up because they are classified as Candy rather than Clothing. Today, I saw a Borovan Wizard Hat, and this one really baffled me! Why is this wizard hat considered Candy? Should we really be eating our clothes?! (In case you are curious, there are about 30 other wearables that are in the Candy category ~musiclives2001

Ideally, at least one of each kind—but unfortunately, the Cloudy Brucicle and Brucicle Making Kit items seem to have disappeared sometime around 2011, and at this point have become unobtainable. It's not really a question, just a shout out and a very heartfelt thank you to the NP team for making site events feel more inclusive and accessible for Neopians with busy and hectic lives and who may be not-so-able-bodied like me. The Altador Cup is the most recent example. I know it's been shortened and also that hardcore players are upset that ranking isn't as grind-heavy or challenging for them this year, but as someone with a disabling condition that affects my ability to play games for long stretches of time, this means so much to have an actually attainable goal this year. It nearly brought tears to my eyes because it means I don't have to feel like I'm missing out again because I'm different. I know it's hard to both serve a hardcore gaming community and to be inclusive with all kinds of Neopians, but I just wanted to say I just really appreciate the efforts from the whole team and the work you've all continued to do. ~nikerio
I just wanted to give a huge shoutout to TNT Luna for taking care of a ton of old item error issues! Thank you!!! ~quailbat
I just wanted to give a huge shoutout to JN Quail for compiling those lists! Thanks to TNT Dom’s company card on an in-flight Wi-Fi purchase and a long international haul, expect more spelling fixes soon.

Dear TNT, I have a question about the prizes for the Mystery Pic contest. For the past few months, the prize has been clearly related to the answer for the round. Last time this happened and someone asked, it turned out to be a mistake on the part of the person running the contest and was discontinued. But it's been so consistent recently, is this a new policy? I think it's funny and I don't mind the help (if I manage to get the connection), but as far as I know, it wasn't supposed to happen. ~amethyst43217

Hey TNT, quick question about the Void Chapter Replay Cookies. Are you able to get the full 4k plot points for replaying the chapter? And do you also get the prizes from reading the chapter you chose? I’m assuming the only way to get points is hospital shifts and daily void essence collection and not from the voidlings in the battledome, is this true? ~rustedtentacles
The best way to maximize your plot points would be through the Volunteer Centre and the Reserve Barracks. You can earn all prizes from reading the story that were available while the plot was active, and most of the prizes for the other activities, but some prizes have been removed from certain pools to prevent price deflation of those items. Read the full Chapter Replay Fortune Cookie FAQ for more info!

Dear TNT, If one is going to summon Vocivus, I think it must be important to pronounce his name correctly. We had some fun dialogue over on the boards but were divided. Would the name be pronounced like latin...er.. that is old Elderus...with W's...waw-KEE-woos or is it just as written vo civ us? ~smudgeoffudge
The modern-day pronunciation of Vocivus is as written (Vah-Siv-Uss), but the Vandagyre society that originally named him would have indeed pronounced it differently (Waw-KEE-Woos). However, he likely won't mind you calling him either name as he crushes you underfoot! ~~ TNT Aesop

Next up, we have the Left Forward from Team Terror Mountain, please welcome Evrem Guilako!
Interviewer: “Thank you for your time, Evrem. I know your team has been busy preparing for the Altador Cup and with running Camp Honeysnow before that. You’ve certainly had a lot going on!”
Evrem: “Yes. Very busy. But good busy. We… Urh. We want do good for Osi. He has help us a lot. He wants help others too.”
Interviewer: “That’s right. It must have been devastating hearing about his condition. How are you – and Osielle – coping with the loss of his sight?”
Evrem: “He still can see. But he… Seeing goes away. Some days good, some days not so good. But… Urh. Sorry. Ugg-ka gah-ack-acka. I cannot think of… the right words.”
Interviewer: “You’re doing great, Evrem. I’m sorry, I should have asked – would you like a translator?”
Evrem: “Ug-ugg. Yes please.”
INTERVIEWER’S NOTE: The following portion of Evrem’s interview has been translated from Tyrannian. There may be some inaccuracies – we at the Neopian Times invite constructive feedback and gentle correction on any cultural nuances we may have overlooked.
Evrem: “Thank you. To answer your question, Osielle has good days and bad days. Some days he can see perfectly, others he can’t. We don’t know the specifics, but we want to support him – and others like him, who worry they can’t do what they love because they aren’t fully able-bodied. That is why we founded Camp Honeysnow.”
Interviewer: “I’m sure he appreciates your support. And so do the countless Neopians out there you’re helping with this training camp.”
Evrem: “Of course. Osielle and I are friends. I would even say he is my best friend – he was the first on the team to learn Tyrannian, just to make things easier for me. He even learned the dialect spoken in my village, and then taught the rest of the team, too. Terror Mountain is cold, but their hearts are the warmest in all of Neopia.”
Interviewer: “I can believe that! Now, one final question: what activity at Camp Honeysnow are you most excited about?”
Evrem: “Osi and I have been learning braille together, so I’m looking forward to having a teacher to learn from. I’m also excited for Minae [Mitora, the Team Terror Mountain goalkeeper’s cooking class, and her tips on making home kitchens more accessible. I’m terrible at cooking. Anything I try to make is either hard as a rock or tastes like dung. Or both.”
Interviewer: “Well, then let’s hope your team can work miracles off the Yooyuball pitch too! Thank you again for your time, Evrem, and good luck with Camp Honeysnow!”

QUICK QUESTIONS
Welcome back to another round of Quick Questions! In this week's edition, we will be kicking things off with the goalkeeper, Fanetti from Team Haunted Woods!
Interviewer: “We’re here today with a special guest, scurrying out from the deepest darkness in the Haunted Woods. Please give a warm welcome to the Horror to Scorers, the Ghoul of Goalkeeping, the Verbose Vampire, and the Count of Quick-saves… Team Haunted Woods’ very own… Fanetti!”
Fanetti: “My, my, that’s a lot of nicknames. Am I really known by all of them?”
Interviewer: “One of your teammates asked me to introduce you like that. According to my research, ‘Count of Quick-saves’ seems to be picking up steam even outside the Woods.”
Fanetti: “One of my teammates, eh? I am certain I know who that is… Though I am surprised she approached you on her own. She must be getting more comfortable with others now that she has spent some time with us.”
Interviewer: “You’re talking about Inola Barick, right? If so, then your guess is spot-on. She seemed very sweet, but didn’t talk much. She just handed me a card with all those nicknames on it. Which leads me to ask: so little is still known about Varwolves, so she’s one of the first in the public eye. What’s it been like working with her, and how has she integrated into the team?”
Fanetti: “I must say, she was quite shy at first – likely why she didn’t say much – but she fell in love with Yooyuball the moment she saw us play. I cannot blame her; it is a noble and most entertaining sport, after all! As for how she is fitting in… Well. Do any of us truly ‘fit in’ anywhere? Our team is a team of misfits – and in that way, she is right at home with us.”
Interviewer: “How so?”
Fanetti: “For one, she has given us all… copious nicknames, as you yourself now have a first-hand account of. Second, she tends to disappear on us at the smallest sound – which would be a useful trick on the pitch; however, it has led us more than once to believe ghosts were stealing our water bottles. It would not be the first time that has happened, in the spirit of fairness. But we appreciate this about her – after all, we all have our own quirks, such as Crade leaving smoke behind when he flies especially fast, or Brains Mortigan and his… ah, everything.”
Interviewer: “It sounds like she’s found a good home with you all.”
Fanetti: “Ah-ha! Yes, I like to believe so. She is getting braver every day – but I cannot take credit for that alone. I do escort her to and from practices, as it turns out I live closer to the Varwolf village than my teammates; however, we are all intent on making sure she feels safe and welcomed as she gets accustomed to life outside her village… and with the delightfully frightening creatures of the Haunted Woods.”
Interviewer: “Delightful indeed! This has been a wonderful interview, Fanetti. I’m sure everyone is waiting with bated breath to see you work your magic on the pitch, and to see how Inola fares in the big wide world of Neopia!”

And finally, we'll hear from the newest addition to the Altador Cup, the Team Captain and Right Defender from Team Neopia Central, Tidye "Coach" Stokes!
Interviewer: “Welcome, Miss Stokes. Everyone has been very excited to finally have a Neopia Central team in the Altador Cup. How’s the new team coming together?”
Stokes: “Excited to be here, and even more excited to be a part of the Cup. The team is fabulous, of course! We’re more than ready to get on the field.”
Interviewer: “That’s great to hear. The try-outs were quite the performance. The fact that you all came from separate teams was a twist that really tugged at many fans' heartstrings. But, how is everyone feeling with so little time to get to know each other?”
Stokes: “We may all come from different teams, but that’s actually been an advantage I don’t think many other teams out there have.”
Interviewer: “Really? How so?”
Stokes: “A few other lands maybe have one or two reserve teams they can scrimmage with here and there throughout the year, but not like us! We’ve got 5 whole other teams in our back pockets. All with different playing styles to keep us on our toes!”
Interviewer: “Oh wow, that never occurred to me. That really does sound like a great way to get ready in time for this year’s Cup.”
Stokes: “You never have to get ready when you stay ready, darling. We may all be new to each other, but we aren’t new to the game. Every single member of the team is giving it their all, and I’m beyond proud to be called their captain.”
Interviewer: “With such talented players and such an unconventional way of coming to be, how did the team choose a captain?”
Stokes: “It wasn’t easy. Everyone on the team was initially vying for the position, except for Raya [Valensi]. He was just sorta happy to be there. To be honest, the obvious choice seemed like Nat [Eyser]. They’re beyond skilled at everything they do. Yet after a few rounds of letting everyone have a crack at playing captain, we took a vote, and it was 1 vote for Nat and the rest for me. I was the vote for Nat.”
Interviewer: “That’s very touching. Did the team give a reason behind why they voted for you?”
Stokes: “Oh, I definitely asked, because I know me. I know I can get a little intense when it comes to competition, and that usually turns people off. But they said while they saw I was quick to call out mistakes, I was just as quick to provide solutions and give praise… That’s when they gave me the nickname, Coach. They… they really saw me, you know? ”
[Stokes pauses to sip some water and compose herself]
Stokes: “And it’s that sort of connection that shows while we may not have been playing together as long, we’re just as synced as the rest of the teams in the Cup. We’re ready to face them on equal footing and take home the gold!”
Interviewer: “Strong words from Altador Cup’s newest Captain, I’m sure everyone is excited to see you and the rest of your team live up to them!”

Next up, we have the Right Forward from Team Dacardia, please welcome Camila Cardenas!

Camila: “Hi! Oh my gosh, I’m so excited to be here. After Tyrra and Rowdy Roo got to do this when we debuted, I jumped at the chance.”
Interviewer: “Literally. I’m probably going to have a couple of fresh bruises come morning…”
Camila: “Heehee… Sorry about that. But really, you got Rowdy to talk before, and he’s nothing but hot air. I’ve got plenty I want to talk about, so come at me with anything you’ve got!”
Interviewer: “Wow, love the enthusiasm! Okay, first off: how does your team feel going into the Altador Cup this year? You placed 17th out of a possible 19 during your debut year, and I heard you had rather higher hopes than that.”
Camila: “...You had to bring that up, didn’t you? *Sigh.* I mean, nobody wants to place that low, and I really don’t think we deserved it. We’re a lot better than you might think even if we’re technically new. But… the Altador Cup’s no joke. We’re going to work harder than ever before, and this year we’ll do much better, I’m sure of it!”
Interviewer: “Well said! With your innovative style and fresh plays, you’re sure to impress.”
Camila: “Thanks! And… heehee… I’m sure there’s a few people we’ll impress in particular~!”
Interviewer: “Oh?”
Camila: “I’m talking about a certain hunky Mynci from Team Mystery Island, of course. Have you SEEN the eyes Ty-ty makes at him? Magnus is thinking about dating again, too. Good for him, he and his daughter are close as Crabby-bots in a construction site, but sometimes you just need a cuddle-buddy, you know? I’m sure impressing someone with your mad Yooyuball skills is a good way to find someone to spend some time with. And don’t even get me started on Rowdy. You know he shuts up about that silly rivalry of his with Tandrak Shaye. Ooh, maybe I should introduce myself to him [Shaye] just to get under that uppity pup’s fur…”
Interviewer: “That doesn’t sound like—Miss Cardenas? C-Camila? Where are you going?”
Interviewer: “...Erm, unfortunately it seems we’ll have to cut this interview short, as Camila Cardenas has flown off muttering something about a plan. I suppose we shouldn’t be surprised – she’s well-known for her drive and ambition, but it seems that Yooyuball isn’t the only thing she applies herself so ardently to!”

QUICK QUESTIONS
Altador Cup Quick Questions is back! This is a segment in which brief interviews are held with a select few Altador Cup players to give insight into the preparations they put into the sport, team dynamics, their lives outside of the Cup and anything else they feel like sharing with us in the few quick moments we are able to talk with them! These interviews were held right before the start of the games so that the players could stay focused throughout the tournament! With that said, we will be kicking things off with the goalkeeper, Jurin T. from Team Kreludor!
Interviewer: “Thanks for meeting with us, Jurin! We appreciate you taking this interview in place of your captain, Derlyn Fonnet. We hope you’re excited to get started.”
Jurin: “Ya, no problem. Cap sends her best, but she ain’t really up for interviews no more after all that mess with the old rumours of her being canned and whatnot.”
Interviewer: “I assure you that isn’t the sort of journalism we’re looking to write here!”
Jurin: “It’s cool, no press is bad press as far as I’m concerned. That’s why I offered to take her spot. So, have at it. Ask the hard questions, pal.”
Interviewer: “Well, alright. It’s been reported that you and the team’s right forward, Motor Dahy, are fairly close, all things considered. Due to his famously prickly attitude, many fans are wondering how this came to be.”
Jurin: “Oh, um… I– uhh.”
Interviewer:“Is everything alright? Why do you have your phone out?”
Jurin: “Ya, ya just sending a quick text. No worries, everything's cool. I just sorta figured you’d ask me like sports things. Like how was it winning first place, or do you think your lack of technical know-how has affected your team in the long run?”
Interviewer: “You seem ready for those sorts of questions. Plus, you asked me to give you hard questions. So, here we are. There’s been two first-hand reports of you and Dahy getting into scuffles. Yet, you are looked to when he gets out of hand. Why is that?"
Jurin: “It ain’t all that big a deal. And Dahy’s a private guy, so like I’m not trying to share his business or nothing. You may want to drop it.”
Interviewer: “Come on now, your fans want to know. Is there secretly a big softie behind that Pteri’s gruff exterior?”
Jurin: “*sigh* I tried giving you an out, man.”
[Loud crashes come from the next room before Dahy breaks through the door]
Dahy: “He said drop it, numbskull, or I’ll bash your head in! This interview is over!”
[Dahy proceeds to pick up Jurin, who is shaking his head, and carries him away]
Jurin: [To Dahy] “This is not what I meant when I texted ya to come pick me up!”
[To Interviewer] “Sorry about your door, man. You can bill this idiot later.”

I remember that if we were submitting a side-account gallery, we could ask for the Trophy to be awarded on our main account. Is this still applicable for the avatar too? Also, are we still required to re-submit the Gallery every time we add an item(s) before revealing the Winning Gallery on Tuesdays? Also, is there a way to make the avatar retro-active like the Storytelling Contest? The Gallery Spotlight is my all-time favourite contests on the site. Thank You!! ~ darkobsession

*ahem* By her royal decree, LadySpinkledorf the fair requests the Royal Court Trinket be rezoned to allow her to whisper of society’s affairs with her fellow royals while maintaining her gorgeous physique (Nostalgic Royal Token). At present, the trinket occupies not one but two hands, which is most unseemly for a Lady. ~ sharpiepwns

*ahem* By her royal decree, the LadySpinkledorf has been informed that the trinket does in fact work with her in her most resplendent form and, as such, no rezoning is required. She sends her sincerest gratitude for your attention to her social calendar and appearance. ~ sharpiepwns

By decree of the Crown, the Office of TNT Crabby Queen is pleased that LadySpinkledorf's most pressing constitutional concern has been resolved.
The Crown therefore considers this matter officially settled, filed, stamped, archived, and placed in a drawer that nobody will ever open again.
As compensation for the emotional distress caused by briefly believing otherwise, LadySpinkledorf may accept one (1) complimentary royal nod of approval and up to three (3) minutes of uninterrupted gossip regarding court affairs.
Please direct any future concerns to the Royal Complaint Department, where they will be evaluated with the utmost seriousness and only a moderate amount of eye-rolling.
