Daily Dare - February & March 2010

Aristotle and Abigail return again this year to bring you three new game challenges during the months of February and March. For 32 days, you will be able to go up against the game playing siblings and duke it out for the top gamer position. Again, their cousin Lulu returns to host a special NC Challenge.

The Basic 32 Day Challenge

This challenge is the regular one that we've seen throughout the past few Daily Dares--you get to play against either AAA or Abigail! If you are confident you can master AAA, then pick his challenge. The easier challenge score will be given by Abigail. Once you choose your opponent, you are not allowed to change your choice, so choose wisely. If you lose an AAA challenge, you will automatically be given the Abigail prize only if you have not opted to do the Double Dare (if the option was offered). If you lose an Abigail challenge, you will get no prize for the day.

The Double Dare Challenge

This challenge will be held once a week on different days during the course of the Daily Dare. You will only have to beat AAA's score. If you fail, you will receive no prize for the day. If you manage to beat his score, you will receive both AAA's and Abigail's prize for the day.

The Basics

The basic concept is the same as past Daily Dares: you must pick one of two scores (AAA's or Abigail's) and beat it. Abigail's score will be much lower than AAA's, giving non-gamers something more manageable to reach! Once you have chosen an Avinroo to play against, you must play the game and beat their score! (To make your selection, click the link under the picture of either AAA or Abigail.)

The Prizes

Each day, you can win the prize of the person you've successfully challenged. These are unique to the Daily Dare challenge and can be seen below. Also, there are additional prizes for the NC challenge:

• Grandultimate Scoretacular - Beat or match AAA's score on the launch day of all the games and complete all Double Dares.
• Ultimate Scoretacular - Beat or match AAA's score and complete at least one Double Dare on the launch day of all the games.
• Ultimate - Beat or match AAA's score on the launch day of all the games.
• Super Uberiffic - Beat or match all of Abigail's scores or a combination of AAA's and Abigail's scores (including at least one Double Dare) on the launch day of every game.
• Uberiffic - Beat or match all of Abigail's scores or a combination of AAA's and Abigail's on the launch day of every game.
• Super Megasuperb - Beat or match all of AAA's scores by the end of the event and complete at least one Double Dare.
• Megasuperb - Beat or match AAA's scores for all of the games by the end of Daily Dare.
• Super Spifftastic - Beat or match all of AAA's or Abigail's scores and complete at least one Double Dare by the end of the event.
• Spifftastic - Beat or match Abigail's scores and at least one AAA score by the end of the event.
• Spiffcredible - Beat or match all of Abigail's scores by the end of the event.
• Participant - Beat or match at least one Abigail score by the end of the event.

Strategy

Who should you go up against? Abigail or AAA? AAA's prize will almost always be more valuable simply because his scores are so high and not as many Neopians will be winning them. Luckily, there's a little method to get the best possible prize. Before choosing who to challenge, play the game. Try to score as high as you can. Once you get a satisfying score that either beats AAA or Abigail, do not send it! Go back to the Daily Dare page and challenge the appropriate person with a score lower than yours. Then you can go back and send the score, and it'll count for the challenge! (Try to beat AAA's score though. Sometimes, it's not as hard as you think!)

Staff Tournament

The Staff Tournament is a new addition to the Daily Dare. The Neopets Team will be participating, and you will be voting on the 15 staff members you think will do better in each game challenge. If you have chosen the right staffers to win, you will receive prizes at the end of the Daily Dare.
