UPDATE, Sept 12: We have confirmed that 3 Cheops work, but that Tchea, Ummagine, Bagguss, and Ptolymelon do not. We are still seeking confirmation on whether or not 3 Puntec (the original solution) still awards the avatar. Please let us know!

We received word this morning that the Fruit Machine avatar appears to have been updated!

You may remember when the avatar first launched on December 17, 2025 we posted about how its requirements (spinning 3 Puntec Fruit) didn't fulfill TNT's past promises about the solution. A 2022 editorial suggested the eventual solution would be for spinning 3 matching fruits of any type.

It appears that long-since promised solution has finally come to fruition!

A user reported receiving the avatar for spinning 3 Cheops Fruit, around 04:30 AM NST.

We don't know exactly what time this change went into effect, as some users reported earlier spins were unsuccessful.

If you've successfully received the avatar today, please let us know your winning combo and the approximate time you spun!

No win here, but I just wanted to note that it's kinda nice that the spinning animation works again and it doesn't just flash your results up and tell you you lost instantly anymore.

So basically, from reading the comments above, it looks like only Cheops and Puntec work (the two highest wins achieveable) ... not quite the "any three of a kind" we were originally promised - but an improvement.
