Void Within Avatar Being Granted

UPDATE, September 4th: Many users have reported being granted the avatar silently overnight, even if they did not previously submit a ticket. If you are still missing the avatar, and believe you are owed it, we recommend submitting a ticket if you haven't yet done so. If you have already submitted a ticket, just sit tight! It's possible that the awarding process could take several days (as was initially announced). We do not know at this time if it is still running or supposedly complete. We will update this post if there is any official word from TNT and/or the ambassadors.

UPDATE, August 30th: Most users who submitted tickets appear to have received an automatic reply stating they do not qualify for the avatar. We recommend replying to the ticket to keep it from closing (no need to submit a second ticket!). Ambassadors have commented on Discord and Reddit to state they are aware and escalating it with TNT.

UPDATE, August 28th: Despite TNT's message in the news yesterday (stating the script would take a few days to run), ambassadors have confirmed that the script is supposed to be completed. If you believe you are owed the avatar, and have not received it, it is recommended to file a ticket with support.

UPDATE, August 27th: TNT posted this message in the news, confirming the script would take a few days to run:

Attention Neopians! We became aware of the new Over The Rainbow avatar not appearing for certain players, even though they had taken part in every activity and read every page of the story for the plot. After an investigation, we found an issue with the avatar granting, the avatar did not unlock for everyone who qualified. That has now been fixed!

We are going back through the accounts that should have earned it already and granting the avatar to each one. Please be patient with us, it will take some time to work through everyone. There is nothing you need to do on your side. The avatar will simply be waiting in your avatar collection the next time you look, so keep an eye on it over the coming days!

Thanks for your patience while we worked through this issue!

You may remember that a new Void Within avatar was discovered as a final prize recently. The avatar wasn't available at the conclusion of the plot in June, but was added at some point between then and August, with it finally being noticed a few weeks ago.

The problem was if you had already claimed your final Void Within prizes, you were not receiving the avatar. This is now being remedied by TNT, and a script is being run to award it to any eligible Neopians right now.

Check your Neoboard settings! You may already have it at the end of your list—but the awarding is slow going, so keep checking back throughout today and tomorrow.

The avatar is awarded for "participating in every activity and reading the entire story," but since the plot is long over, we haven't been able to really nail down exact requirements.

@iraisan: It's likely you needed to participate from the very beginning, as the text on the prize pop up (for those who got it) quite plainly said it was for "every activity and reading the entire story".

I completed every task, read every page of the comic and started on day one...No avatar for me. The only thing I probably missed out on was collecting void essences EVERY single day but other than that I'm pretty sure I accomplished everything

I did everything except the "from the beginning" achievement because the plot started a little while before I returned. I did "participate in every activity" and "read the entire story", so I feel like I should qualify, but I haven't gotten the avatar yet, so I don't know if the problem is that I wasn't able to do that one achievement, or if it's just because this is bugged as all get-out.

I sent in a ticket and they already replied:

"If you did not receive this avatar, then this unfortunately means that you did not qualify, as the requirements for unlocking this avatar required you to have completed all activities and read all Chapters while they were active. Unfortunately our records show that you did not complete at least one activity or finish reading a chapter, and this disqualifies you from the avatar."

Considering I literally played the plot from day 1 and didn't miss anything other than some days of void collecting and point maxing, I have no idea what I missed. I replied asking them to be more specific as I'm calling BS on this one.

But I completed 100% of the achievements and received both the void pb and the Void Quantum Blaster when the plot ended. I asked them to tell me exactly what I missed if their "records indicate" I missed something they should be able to tell me

Same message from support, it's so vague that I assumed either they didn't count the earlier couple of chapters I read but didn't get prizes from during the plot because it had already moved on to the new chapter or because I didn't have the "from the beginning" achievement.

Other than that I did everything, every minigame, every hospital shift, fought every void opponent (although I couldn't beat the OP version of drakara).

I'll be pretty upset if they really did make an avatar only for people who were literally there from the very start of the plot, that's what the void blaster is for. =/

Considering how they're the ones that botched this rollout so bad, they should at least be fully transparent on what they count as "everything". Why they even thought it would be a good idea to release an avatar that isn't achievable if you didn't happen to do something two and a half years ago is beyond me.

Got the same vague message from support too, so I've followed y'alls lead and asked them what I missed. The only thing I can possibly think of is maybe skipping the hardest Battledome challenger or missing an occassional void essence...Other than that I did literally everything and stuck with the plot for over three years so the whole thing is just disappointing.

Same as others. Sent in a ticket and got the stock response of you missed something. I send in a second ticket asking what it was excatly I missed as I believe I have completed everything. They very quickly sent back the same initial stock response, clearly not reading the ticket. I plan on sending another ticket later in the week, which will hopefully get seen by someone different. Very dissapointed in TNT over this.

I got the same email response which is bs because you had to read the pages of the chapter to move on so I know I didn't miss any as I did it all as it was released, I habe 100% acheievements, played all games etc and got the top prize too.I replied saying tell me what I didn't do. I received the same message and asked them to tell us that didn't receive that know we did everything exactly what they are saying we didn't do. I have a neofriend that refuses to battle as she doesn't like her pets hurt that received the avatar. There's no way she did every activity without the battle portion so how did she receive. I have all the avatars, all the prizes, all the achievements and all the trophies from the plot. I'm also one that can't get Grave Danger because of the glitch from FF 2022. I hope they respond to what they are saying we didn't do. I know people will say it's just pixel and it is, but I earned the pixel the avatar.

No avatar either. I received the void pb, quantum blaster, and have 100% achievements (although I didn't get the Rift Rewarder achievement until Act 4). I made sure to read every comic page - although some of the pages in the latter chapters needed to be highlighted very carefully or they wouldn't be marked as read. They should just award this avatar for any-level-of-participation since there are already so many that have already retired from the plot (like the Vocivus avatars, I imagine).

They claim you magically missed something but refuse to say what it was and considering how many pages some of this stuff was... I know i was reading and re re reading it multiple times because it was a ton in there... I made everything and was told you missed a thing and I did battles and the hospital and made all the rewards and achievements.

@daughters_ofthe_moon I collect avatars also and put the pixel comment as I see players state we shouldn't get upset over pixels. They need to explain how I could have the void paint brush which is for all Chapters participation, the blaster for completing every fearless deed, all the previous avatars attached to the plot that we received throughout for doing different activities, all trophies for every game and gold for Orions Prophecies meaning I completed all of those , the essence collection milestone prizes plus the epilogue and the Liar of the Beast which I don't think was included in the requirements for the avatar. I didn't use a replay cookie after the plot ended so no way to say any of this wasn't completed after the fact. Their replay cookie is probably the problem with the coding on this avatar, whatever it is, there is a problem as there can't be this many of us that did everything and didn't get the avatar.

came here to check & see if i was the only one who didn’t receive the avatar after also obtaining all the 100% completion prizes. i submitted a ticket & got the same response:

Really glad I paid for Premium for over two years to play the plot, did absolutely everything and earned all the other prizes and achievements and Fearless Deeds, and now get a big middle finger from Neo with a blanket rejection on the final avatar that I clearly earned. Thanks guys!

Got the same canned response after submitting a ticket. This whole avatar is dung. The plot has been going on for literal years, plural. How am I supposed to recall if I did every step the moment they came out?

During the long time the plot was ongoing, I even switched my main account as did many old returning players (It was early on in the plot, and I just restarted it). This probably messed up my chances for this avatar that I didnt know was going to exist.

The avatar should be rewarded to anyone who completed the plot, period, regardless of when it was completed. Or even better, give it to anyone and everyone who did even a single activity on it as a thank you for participating.

Its the least they could do for as long as we've had to endure it and for retroactively distributing this as a prize.

Yeah no I'm fully pissed off as well. I completed all the chapters and games while it was active, got all the timed achievements, and also pay for premium... And yet I got the same middle finger saying "you did not complete something" (while giving me no indication of WHAT I supposedly didn't complete).

This plot was already a massive disappointment for everyone, and I'm STILL sore over not getting the 500 points from the raid that TNT gave me the same canned responses saying "We'll fix the points when the plot is over" (they never did).

I'm going to keep sending tickets until I get an ACTUAL human responding to me. It seems like the only way to actually get any kind of response from TNT these days.

same situation as everyone else here: i sent in a ticket since i know i did absolutely everything and got every other reward possible (and got the max level trophy), kept track on paper and on JN, and got the same "you missed something, actually, and we won't tell you what" response
it feels like theyre trying to push us all to buy replay cookies to see what exactly was missed. or maybe i'm just too jaded from mobile games with harmful monetization tactics.

Same boat as everyone else; Im not even very sure the help desk could really do much to make an account has an avatar or not (i doubt they could self activate that is.) I am hopping TNT just... fixes whatever coding they did and just fixes it so as long as you participated you earn said avvie?? like kinda common sense... I cant really imagine what flags are or are not needed that are messing up this specific avvie. Here is hoping something gets fixed.

But i also, in full honesty, hope this has them look a bit more into the helpdesk.

I dont think i ever had any good intereaction with the help desk, ive talked to ai bots who respond better than the Neo help (many issues ive had never been fixed, ive had tickets closed without responce, i've had to do some strange thigns to fix issues that ever reply was just copy/pasted. i dont think i have seen any positive comment from someone using the helpdesk in a VERY long time with neopets.

What’s funny is that I got the canned reply to my ticket exactly 30 minutes after I opened my ticket. Which is funny considering that all previous tickets took weeks to hear anything. So I responded to it asking for clarification…. And it’s been over 12 hours with no response LOL. I have a feeling TNT will be ghosting me.

I haven't done 2 steps for the Epilogue; The Lunar Temple and The Lair of the Beast. Too late for me to stay up and my computer sucks. I basically do everything on my phone. Prismatic Paragon (113,357 points), Void PB, blasters on my battle pet, Day 1, all achievements, all tasks, trophies, and all that jazz. Had a few glitches with Void Essences but finished all that they listed in the correct time windows.

Not all all jazzed, alas. Guess I'll make another unloved ticket.

Just finished going through the whole plot again. Chapter by chapter thinking I might have missed something. Nope, didn't get the Avie pop-up. Of course I didn't play any of the games or go to the Battledome. Maybe, it's a time thing on those pages of long conversations of script. That most of us just scrolled through. Bearden61, you receiving the Avie gives all of us some hope. If I don't receive the Avie by the end of today then I will submit a ticket. In my ticket, I'm going to ask what exactly did I miss that disqualified for the Avie. This is ridiculous.

@luckk did you get final prizes? If you got final prizes that is your proof, void paint brush as a final prize which is for all Chapters participation, the blaster for completing every fearless deed. Void Kadoatie For completing every Fearless Deed except for From the Very Beginning and/or Not a Bright Idea, On my ticket I listed that I received the paint brush and the blaster and on my lookup you can see I have the trophies for the games that had trophies, Orions Prophecies gold and every other avatar that was available from the plot and the games. If you have the paint brush alone proves you participating in all the chapters. I also mentioned I had every prize that was from reading and doing the chapters. This was suppose to be released when we got the final prizes and I think anyone that received 1 or 2 of the items would have gotten. Their programming is messed up. Chapter 2 was just mainly reading and you would have the little ! over one of the characters if you didn't read a page.

When I collected my final prizes, all I received was a Void Paint Brush and the Blaster. The Void Kadoatie was missing. So, I'm guessing I missed a Fearless Deed along the way even though everything said 100% completed. I have the Prismatic Paragon trophy (102,986 points) on my lookup. I guess I had better submit a ticket and find out what I missed so I can purchase a Chapter Replay Cookies from the Mall. Thanks for posting again Bearden61.

@much_to_young you would have received the blaster or the Void Kadoatie, not both. You got the blaster that's 100 percent the Void Kad was for missing From the Very Beginning and/or Not A Bright Idea. I don't think the Chapter Cookie guarantees the avatar so please don't purchase. I would submit a ticket if you haven't but you did 100 percent so you are owed the trophy.

I still haven't received this avatar but I've been an active user again since 2018, so I KNOW I didn't miss anything in the plot. All of my acts show as 100% and I've completed the epilogue, so I've read every page. I never used chapter replay cookies or any of that. I submitted a ticket, and Blake was like:

"We're sorry to hear you did not receive the Over the Rainbow avatar after we had already addressed an error with this exclusive reward for participation in the Void Within plot. Please note that all eligible accounts will find the avatar in their NeoBoard preferences after our review and regrant was completed.

If you did not receive this avatar, then this unfortunately means that you did not qualify, as the requirements for unlocking this avatar required you to have completed all activities and read all Chapters while they were active. Unfortunately our records show that you did not complete at least one activity or finish reading a chapter, and this disqualifies you from the avatar."

I've let a lot of things, and by a lot I mean most, slide with the plot - but this has actually left a bad taste in my mouth. Just complete BS

Having read through some of the earlier comments now, I'm seeing that many others also got this canned response. Looks like we all also had the same thought about asking TNT for specifics on what was missed. I had already done that earlier but I just followed up again, stating that I have the Void PB and the blaster still on my account, and to please be specific with what their "records" indicate I'm missing. I don't have high hopes, but I guess I'll wait and see.

Update: They told me I didn't complete chapter 7 but... I did. I even have the Time for Tea avatar from that chapter, so I asked them specifically what shows as incomplete. I can't remember if I only earned that avatar after the close of chapter 7, so I'm wondering if that might be the technicality that disqualified me

Got a response to my ticket. Blake responded with "Our records show you did not complete Chapter 12".
I just responded asking for more specifics, because I distinctly remember completing this chapter as it was the longest one by far. I sent screenshots of all my final prizes, my final trophy, points, achievements, story prizes, screenshots of the completed puzzles etc.

The requirements for this avatar are very confusing and im disappointed that they aren't being transparent about it. Im even more disappointed for this avatars sudden existence in the first place.

I took screenshots of my Achievements. Avatars, Prize points, Trophy's on my UL and my Void final final prizes. Little did I know you could only attach 1 screenshot to a ticket. Hit the back button, copied what I wrote, put All my screenshots in a file folder and submitted a 2nd ticket. I saved what I wrote in Microsoft Word. I told them, I didn't see how I could if missed anything. But let me know what Chater/Chapters or anything else I my have overlooked. I said next time I would take Screenshots of All of my Void prizes I received (double) and submit them. Everything is in my SDB. I told them I was hoping not to get an automated response. We will see what happens. After reading everyone's responses here, I don't have high hopes.

I have all the prizes from the story of Chapter 7, the "Time for tea" avatar (which I can prove was obtained before Christmas 2024) and all three "Tea-rrific Job!", the "Void Paint Brush" and the "Void Quantum Blaster", but apparently I didn't complete Chapter 7. I really can't understand why they try to gaslight us... But hey, if I really want the avatar I can spend my money to buy a cookie and replay the Chapter!

@scarletta ugh I'm sorry you're getting literally the same exact runaround! Would that even work though? I'm under the impression you had to complete the chapter while it was active, but I guess none of us really knows since the requirements for this avatar are super vague. I think that if you were granted the quantum blaster and the void PB at the end of the plot, you should have been granted the avatar

based on what I personally have gleaned from all of this, it seems like the requirements are the same???

Riddle me this, how in Moltara can TNT say people are missing chapters when we know for a fact that that you can't move on from one page to another page without clicking one each of the dialog or story panels 🤔. got a reply saying i didnt fully participate in Chapter 11. I give up, whatever, no avatar for me then.
Though this would be less frustrating if someone just came out and said what exactly they're checking off or what exactly they count as completed. If i knew what i missed i'd be fine with it.
I'm thinking about what it could be that I missed and can't come to a conclusion. Did you have to battle during every chapter? Is there a certain amount of void essence you had to collect? Just TELL US omggg.

@snix_snix the funny thing is they went on a hiatus right after Chapter 7 and, because of some special events happening at that time in my life, I'm sure I did everything I could on that specific chapter before the plot paused (November 11th). They could have say I missed any other chapter but this one and I would have believed it, but this is simply NOT possible for Chapter 7, so I know something is not working as intended, or they're lying (I hope it's not the latter).
