Soup Kitchen Giving Out Items

Who'd have thought: a soup kitchen that actually gives you soup? Some new items have started to appear after donating at the Soup Kitchen.

There may be even more that have yet to appear!

You may recall the Soup Kitchen was just updated on August 12 to add a donation feature, the NP limit to eat there was raised, and its avatar requirements were adjusted. But, we have not seen or heard of any item prizes until today.

It's not yet known what the requirements are to receive an item. If you get one, let us know or comment below how much and how often you have been donating!

I have been donating in 5 KNP chunks and haven't gotten anything. She hates me.

This is what I expected we'd be getting, not the avatar, when donating, lol. Well, I mean the avvie could've been part of it to begin with, but treats meant new soup to me originally.

I spent $225k in increments of 10k, 25k, 50k, and 75k. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Zero.

I've been donating 50k in one go right after midnight NST between August 12th and today and it's an accumulation of 700k before I got the book

@ruruskadoo since feeding doesn't earn you NP, as long as you have under 100k NP on the side account you should still be able to feed them on a side account. I can't see why the new donation feature (which is TAKING NP, not giving them to you) would stop you from feeding your pets.

My donations so far to get the avatar are so far unsuccessful - have been generous (50K, 100K as well as lots of 5Ks) - can't help but wonder if it's based on what you have in your bank account and until you have donated a percentage of that you stand no chance!

This reminded me to go try donating for the avatar (didn't get around to it after the last Soup Faerie update) and I got it first try! 5k donation. Sometimes luck does shine down upon thee. 🥺🙏

Unrelated, and I'm sure people have noticed this before, but it appears sometime during the past few days (after NeoYork concluded anyway), I was given the Over The Rainbow avatar. I've not gone back to the plot main page though, so I don't know HOW it was awarded.. but it was!

@cabbil_bane You may be onto something! @kacutieone if you have 400m and donated 40k to receive the avatar that's super interesting because I'm at 250m and donated 25k to receive the avatar. Might be a coincidence but worth keeping an eye on maybe?
