Tales of Dacardia Donation Event Now Live

Today, the donation portion of the ongoing event in Tales of Dacardia has begun.

NEW! There is not an event quest to repaint the town plaza and begin the event. The event will be automatically available in the events interface.


The mechanics of the event are unchanged from similar previous ones. There are also a selection of Neopets.com prizes available from the event's prize shop loosely themed for Usukicon, and four automatic prizes for hitting donation thresholds.

This Donation Dome will last from today through August 31. There is a login calendar ongoing in the same timeframe as well.

Prizes really should have been retired Goodie Bags.. would have been good to get some back into the economy and would have been fun opening them..

I'm disappointed, I wish they'd put some of the quickfinger items like the pirate captain and buzzer set in the prize shop instead

My Dacardia/NeoPass link has been disfunctional for over a month, missed out on the whole Altador event and now totally frustrated with seeing what's coming up and being locked out. ZenDesk has given up on me, they just don't respond any more... I'm happy for you guys that still can play.

I'm happy for anyone who likes Usuki things to be getting events catered towards them. Recent prize pools haven't been to my personal liking but I know someone out there is happy about it all!

@mini_abu have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game? Every couple weeks my neo pass link gets messed up and that's the fix that works for getting reconnected.

Yeah, I've also had to reinstall a few times. Make sure that there aren't any warnings about the save server going down or else you'll lose all your progress though.

(I would also recommend playing on something like mumuplayer since neopets mobile games run a lot better on stronger hardware on account of them being resource hogs.)

nevermind, it was there I just couldn't find it womp womp, I was looking for the quest to decorate the donation dome. I don't like this change lol. Also yeah, the prize shop is lame.

Ugh. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling my game because my neopass hasn't been linked for months now. Now I'm still logged out and I've lost all of my progress. This app is the bane of my existence.

Anyone else missing their Lania Cragg from their game entirely? I didn't realize this wasn't a quest like normal initially and spent a while looking for her - she's gone. The other NPCs are still around though :/

Disliking the new format, because if I didn’t have fam playing the same game, I would t have known. Could’ve added an exclamation point to lead us there.. Fortunately the prize pool isn’t that great. (At least not to me, sorry. ) Which is a shame, because I was not only looking forward to it, I would’ve loved an Usuki theme event plaza.
