I think the event itself looks kind of... mediocre. The rewards are nice, sure, but the rest of the art assets seem to be of poor quality.. Maybe that's just me.

And the resellers are already going gross with hoarding the prizes. Sandwich Tree was 300k on SSW a few hours ago, now hoarded onto auctions for 50mil. Which is weird behavior when yoy consider these items will be here for 7 days, and neo_truths disclosed before there's at least 20k premium subs.

I would make it clear this is a non-NC event! I usually just zone out of all NC related stuff and assumed this was just another one… thankfully something made me click the link and imagine my surprise when I got NP items from Nigel!

Now I'm not expecting a lot since this is a NC Event, infact its nice they even have a Base Experience component to it.

Never expecting to see Nigel as part of an Event (aside from a cameo like someone you visit for Trick-or-Treating). I guess like for any other character its welcomed but he's as corpo as you expect him to be. But hey, he at least realized the player could help Bigsby instead of just demanding he finds a way to speed-up and leave, so I'll take Bigsby word he's an honest Chia.

Nice seeing them do something with Donny again (even just for a quick cameo), makes sense him and Bigsby would know each other. Hm, I wonder if they could expand Donny's Toy Repair Shop feature. Like, I was gonna suggest "they should make more broken versions of toys", but that would just be creating fodder items for the sake of it. I'm not sure if making a Quest Giver would work, and I wouldn't make him another "Cooking Pot". OOH, I have an idea! We have a whole batch of BD items which are "Fragile", meaning they have a chance of breaking; aka we lose 'em. BUT, what if instead of losing them forever we just get a "broken" version of them added into our Inventory that we can take to Donny to fix (though for a much higher amount of NP for gameplay balance; in-lore he can say he doesn't usually like fixing weapons). Would certainly make people less hesitant to use Crystal Boomerang, Fake Von Roo Fangs, Golden Scarab, Holiday Nova, Kacheek Flour, Mirror Mote, Pocket Lab Ray, Volleyball of Fire, and the Staff/Wand of Nova & its variants. Still think they could do more, but this would at least give him a small boon. Another Idea: Maybe make some "generic" unidentifiable broken items you can get like from Tarla's Shop of Mystery which Donny can fix into a random item of a certain category.

Moving on, as expected there's Premium Prizes and it's an interesting batch.

Hey guys, do you know New York is famous for its Hot Dogs? Like, they might as well have Hubert as one of the event hosts for Neo York. Infact now would be a good time to make a batch of new Hot Dog items. If they need any ideas just look at PB Colours. Though they can do anything as long as they don't call them "glizzy"; that's a DC/Maryland thing, the real life event is taking place in New York City.

Pizze Meepit is funny, though I think they should have used one of the rat/mouse-based Petpets instead of defaulting to the Meepit.

I'm questioning the inclusion of the "Ruined City" TCG card. Like, did someone on TNT have a bad trip to NYC?

Huh, so the Slyce is a Petpetpet? I'm happy they're experimenting with P3s being more than bugs, but the amount of new object based P3s is starting to get a bit tedious. I would at least suggest basing new P3s on smallest animals: Paedophryne Amauensis (smallest frog), Brookesia Micra (chameleon), Barbados Threadsnake, Octopus Wolfi, Pygmy Seahorse, Bee Hummingbird, Etruscan Shrew, Kitti's Hog-Nosed Bat, etc.. There's also plenty of microscopic lifeforms (how do we not have a Tardigrade P3 yet?) and small Plants. Also I'm sure you can find inspiration from Petpets and other characters around the site; infact if you can make a P3 based on the Krawk, Meerca/Babyca, and Blumaroo/Baby Blu that would be funny. We also have some unreleased P3s, one being a featherless chicken.

Tattoo Rock is a tattoo of a gravestone? Feels like that's stepping on the proverbial toes of the Halloween Rock. I get they're probably a popular tattoo for those who want to honor a lost loved one, but for the Rock Petpet I don't feel it was the best choice. Honestly I wouldn't have done anything, just make it a tattoo of a the default Rock Petpet with (maybe with some of the random doodles other tattoo Petpets had).

I love the new pigeon (spotted weewoo). I think this is now my favourite petpet and I will need to figure out what new pet eventually gets this little buddy.

Anyone having trouble claiming their Day 2 prize? I found the cog but keep getting the dialogue with the clue when visiting Bigsby.

@gardenialily Not sure if you're having the same issue I did, but I didn't realize you have to go to the Wonderclaw page specifically to get Nigel to pop up from the sides to claim it.

@squ33ble I got the Nigel pop up to claim the items but my day 2 clue is still grayed out and says “Check back soon for this hint!”

Ugh, wish there wasn't that odd noise going on in the Wonderclaw page with Nigel in it...It's been forever since I last played the game so the freaky sound effects made me go back kinda quick, lol.

I think I used to play Neo with my volume off for the longest time - never had on music or anything - so maybe that's why it threw me off. But a little sound warning if you're like me and didn't know or forgot that there was any hint of sound. xD



Also now I need the Pizza Meepit for my gallery. xD Not premium though so I'll have to see if prices become normal sometime.

I think in the past they made prizes not repeatable on some events, but it looks like the Premium prizes can repeat on this one. I got the Pink Mazzew Sandwich both yesterday and today. So now I’m really crossing my fingers that my luck changes for getting the p2s and p3

Ok, so if you don't claim the day of, it's not working? Great. Home from the hospital but excluded because I couldn't attend every day since the start. So I'll not be able to finish it. What is the point of all the work they put into these events if they're so glitchy they never work?? And if they exclude people for not living on Neopets 24/7 to be participants in a TIMELY fashion when they decide to have events. *rolls eyes*

Even though I got all the cogs, I couldn’t activate the pop-up for my prizes on day 2 :/

I didn't get the Charm. I got all the cogs the same day and all the pop up prizes and I still didn't get the Charm.

I'm in the same boat as @wolfdragon27, did all that and no Charm. Bummer

The Charm is a premium bonus prize. It has nothing to do with collecting cogs on time. I saw somebody claim they only collected 3 cogs and still got it. But they were a premium player.

Everyone who got it is premium. Nobody else did.

Also, why is this post pushed way down on page 2 while the event is still ongoing?

This sucks! I totally missed the event as it looked exactly like an NC cash event... I didn't realise it was a normal event.
Please can you make it clearer on your news page when something is a PAID/NC event, and when its standard? Can you put like a label on the news post or something so its clear please please?

I agree - I thought this was an NC event and completely ignored it until today.
