Neopets.com Scheduled Downtime: Tuesday, August 11th

TNT has announced downtime for the morning of Tuesday, August 11th for scheduled maintenance. The downtime is scheduled from 1:00 AM to 5:00 AM NST.

This translates to the following time zones:
  • North America Pacific - 1:00 AM to 5:00 AM
  • North America Mountain - 2:00 AM to 6:00 AM
  • North America Central - 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM
  • North America Eastern - 4:00 AM to 8:00 AM
  • Brazil BRT - 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM
  • Europe Western - 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
  • Europe Central - 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
  • Europe Eastern - 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Hong Kong - 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Don't know where to say this but the Game Grumps played The Neopets Mega Mini Games Collection today if any adults are fans of that. Not sfw language but they seem to enjoy it.

? TYPO? Shouldn't Europe Western - 9:00 PM to 1:00 PM should be AM not PM?

Yeah, Europe Western should have been 9AM to 1PM or 09:00 to 13:00 to save confusion.

I don't think the site actually went down for any length of time. It was up and running the few times I checked during that time.

Just realised it's dated for the 11th not today. Explains why it wasn't down today. lol.

They don't usually give this much notice.

well I'm an idiot, I logged in today expecting a fixed customization feature (the worn tab is fixed from the list but now I cant scroll through my unworn items unless I'm on mobile) and on my laptop I can only see the first 30 things in my closet, it wont scroll any further. came to check here and noticed the date is the 11th lolol well that stinks

For what it's worth, scheduled maintenance like this usually has little to do with things we will see on the site afterward. They almost always involve needing to update their servers or run operations on databases that require no users to be accessing them at the time.

Really hope they're fixing the customize closet. I can't even scroll for the clothes I want!😭

@veinslicer @lexronomicon @wolfdragon27 I can't scroll either but if I want a certain item, I just go to my closet, find the name, copy it and then put that in the customization search bar. I know it's a few extra steps but it beats being frustrated because I can't scroll. Or alternatively if I have less than 30 backgrounds, I just type in background. Works for me.

I'm relieved to see I'm not the only one having issues with the closet. There's a new feature to change the size of display of your neopet.. it's like a scroll effect, so I'm wondering if it has something to do with that?
