I've never used the Neolodge. Maybe I'll give it a go...

We can finally bookmark the Neolodge!

It's funny that the hotels are listed separately and then you have to select from a dropdown anyway. I feel like there was a simpler solution. I'm very much not a fan of the dropdown being sorted from most to least expensive, opposite of what it was previously.

Also when you select a pet, their picture suddenly pops up above the selection dropdown, pushing everything below lower. Come on. Reserve the room for this so it doesn't cause these jumps. And, even when you select all, still just one shows and "+(number)". There is a lot of horizontal room for more images, lol!

And then when you click on "review my booking", it shows you the final cost and you have to confirm, which is kinda what I would expect from this wording. Unfortunately, if you don't have enough neopoints on hand, it doesn't even let you see how much it would cost, which is... a choice. A bad one. I want to see how much it's going to cost BEFORE, so I know how much to withdraw if I don't have it on hand, or how much to transfer to my side account! So it's not really an improvement because you still have to guess or calculate it yourself. Why not have the "not enough neopoints" on the next step, if you try to confirm without having enough?

One interesting change is now you can check out your pets early straight from the Neolodge page.
Also, disgustingly, it says the date in the American format. There aren't 17 months, what the heck is this?

I'm actually happy they left the old room previews as they were. That's a classic bit of history that I'm glad they didn't remove.
What I do NOT like however is how they keep releasing pages where things bounce when you do stuff. Why does a preview of a pet need to pop up when I book them a room, moving the other dropdown menu down?

The layout of the page has a nicer aesthetic to it. However I'm not sure if it's.. better than how it was. And the month thing @amethyst mentions seems annoying too. But we know TNT isn't British anymore, they ever only care about America-timzoned people XD

Finally, a "Check All Out" button! I HATE when my pets don't have the same checkout date, and I end up seeing one of them starving while everyone else has a full buffet 😂

I'm glad they're converting the layout but I wish they'd taken the opportunity to add new functionality here. Something like, your pet's happiness goes up or down depending on the quality of hotel and add-ons you get for them. Think bigger tnt

Is the Neopet in the art supposed to be a Poogle? Some looks... not quite right about them.

This is probably a dumb nitpick, but the way I used to check-in my missing neopets is I would randomly select one, then check all. The next page would check-in anyone missing, and just have a message for anyone already checked-in. I can't do that now, I have to initially select a pet that isn't checked-in already. Which I usually don't know 😂 I am lazy, I know.

@premium17 no, it was probably the third most popular, after Lab Ray and Fruit Machine, assuming they're converting them in the order of how the votes went.

if the Cloudflare verification that was implemented into restocking is doing a good job then I'd like to see it implemented into Food Club, the Wishing Well and Lottery. I like the NeoLodge update!

i'm so happy they kept the old room preview artwork <3 but also agree this would've been the best time to add functionality to all the add ons. Happiness boost would be appropriate. Or even items given out! They'd eventually cost 1np probably but I think the sentiment is there at least. Tiny Shampoo Bottle from economy, Plush Bath Towel from luxury, Fancy Fruit Basket from the deluxe hotels. Now I'm just makin up items and making this way too complicated, ignore me lol.

I don't want Food Club to be touched. The functionality of the page is perfect.

I created a new pet today and when I visited the NL to check it in, it informed me that my other pets were in until 9 18. I had to visit quick ref to determine that was 60 days. I suppose I would have preferred to see how many days were left instead of a date.

I don't really have a problem with anything else. A lot of scrolling but I have a lot of pets.

It's ok. Just glad I wasn't confronted with an image of the C Towers upon check in. Gag a little every time I think about it. I will not be tapping to see an example room. LOL.

All my neopets love the roach motel; they get to eat as many skitter snacks as they want!

@morules_99 Yeah, it feels like if there was any time to add new functionality, it'd be during the overhaul. I like your item idea. Maybe a chance at stat boosts if using the Fitness Center or Tennis Courts add-on, which could increase depending on the expensiveness of the neolodge?

Honestly? not a bad conversion. stinks theres a review page, but it honestly feels faster to do since the option for max pets and max nights are the first option down now.

I don't like the update unless there is a better way to lodge all your pets but one. So much easier to just click back page & drop down a new pet instead of all this stuff now

ugh i was hoping they'd allow us to select multiple pets without selecting them all! I always book everyone and then manually early check out the ones I need to because booking each one by one is insane
