Super Shop Wizard Broken on New Layout

UPDATE, July 16th: The SSW is back in working order on the new layout!


It's not just you! The Super Shop Wizard is non-functional on mobile-responsive layout pages. All searches will hang indefinitely.


It still works fine on "classic" layout pages.

We'll update this post when it's fixed, or if TNT makes a statement.

I knew it wasnt just me!

this happens every so often for me but its usually fixed by refreshing a few times

Neomail page works for me . I canceled my premium sub until they fix this mess.

My quest log keeps resetting on me. I can't remember the last time I got my weekly prize.

I suppose they have been super duper busy working on all that grand AC stuff so the rest of the site is falling apart

Hopefully they're working on the SSW since it blocks the entire part of the shop where you enter the price of your item you've just SSWed... so currently it's: open SSW, search, close SSW, price item, open SSW, search, close SSW...

Wishful thinking though probably. It probably just broke because Neopets.

I’ve been on neopets for 25+ years. I finally bought premium to see the hype. 100% not worth it, and the one thing I do use, I can’t. First and last month subscribed.

I wasnt having SSW issues on the new shop layouts, oddly enough, but ai knew that was a huge conplaint when they updated that. So i am not suprised this happening now. Hope its fixed

Y'all, Neopets is a 27 year old website and updating outdated, classic internet coding is going to break stuff a LOT. Making a website from 1999 look modern and still work is a nightmare from a coder's perspective, especially since the website was so poorly kept up for nearly 20 years. I don't envy TNT's coding teams.

There is a workaround - while SSW doesn't work on the modern pages, if you go to an older page like your Item Transfer Log (https://www.neopets.com/items/transfer_list.phtml) you can use the SSW from the Premium bar at the bottom of the page with no issues.

@rowenstarchild not the user base's problem. part of implementing changes like this is to TEST THAT THEY WORK AS INTENDED. ACROSS VARIOUS SCENARIOS. BEFORE GOING LIVE. AND ROLLING OUT TO PUBLIC. Which they clearly haven't been doing.

@koracole any page that hasn't been updated to the new layout. I've been using the Almost Abandoned Attic page. You can get to the super shop wizard in the bottom left.
