Faerie Fragments App Update: New Event + Prizes

Following a period of maintenance, a new update was released for Faerie Fragments on Thursday morning. You may need to proactively update the app through your device's app store; you will not be forced to by the app itself!

New Event
Another in-app event has started: Gone Fishin'! The event runs from today through July 15, with the prize shop open for an extra week through July 21.

The event is similar in mechanics to what we've seen before. Clear levels, complete daily quests, collect Bronze Coins, and earn in-app prizes, including more "Fragments" to unlock Ascor.

There is also a paid event track with additional prizes for $6.99 USD (this will increase to $9.99 after the first two weeks of the event).

You can also earn an exclusive item prize on Neopets.com. If you have NeoPass connected and earn 3,000 Bronze Coins during the event, you will earn a new exclusive item.

Daily Stamp Card Prizes
To celebrate the Altador Cup, the Daily Stamp Card will be giving out some AC team keychains for logging in—it hasn't been announced when this will run for, but the soonest could be starting next Tuesday, June 23.

I agree, it sucks that we can't just have a break from these events.

Redeeming Mali River of Meridell is bugged - I received Sailing into the Sunset instead.

@arktus: Funny enough, it's been a week since the last event ended. (The prize shop always stays open for a week after--there's no active event going on otherwise.)

Redeeming the Tower Conqueror avatar is also bugged - it gives Ultra Rainbow Flash instead

And I was so casually proud of having done tower a few more times as time passed just for collecting a few powerups

TNT can't keep getting away with their recently numerous glitches and bugs. What Is wrong with them!?

While they are at least possible In the moment, forcing me to use useless characters to meet the achievement sucks

If they think Ascord and Jorett are fine (Tia to an extent, but not enough

), they should at least drastically reduce the amount of Icons needed to activate their abilities. 30 Icons for just throwing 2 boomerangs that might hit the least expected target needed Is so garbage. Reduce It to 15, since It'll Increase In 5 Icons each times It's filled, plus using Its max power Is just 2 extra boomerangs, which Is the same as just using 2 boomerangs twice -_-"

I notice that it now lets you watch an ad to retain your boosts after failing a level (Is it actually new? I don't know.) I tried to skip that this time (because it takes so long) and was unable to tap the X to do so.

Hey all! Ever since this morning my husband and I can't get the app to start. It goes to the start page and just sits there, recycling the messages that appear beneath the start button when you push it. We've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing caches, etc, but nothing's working. Anyone else dealing with this?

Yea it doesn't seem to be working at all, looks to have been down for hours. I hope they either fix it soon or extend the event and endless mode by a day
