To celebrate, we're excited to announce that we have 5 new site themes available:

  • Pride: Transgender

Would it be possible to add separate dark mode pride themes to the dropdown? I see that the rainbow pride theme has a dark mode option (and it's super cute), but Resist Fingerprinting forces light mode so I'm stuck using Fall Time if I want otherwise.

In the preview images it shows dark mode as an option, how do I make that happen? Does it require a separate add-on/browser setting?

I don't love fall time tbh, but I've stuck with it all this time because it's the only dark mode; I'd love to be able to switch to a pride theme!

@liegelord_enforcer: A more robust theme mode picker is on our to-do list--the plan is to let you specifically pick light or dark mode (for any theme). We still have a few more pre-req's for that first, namely making a few updates in the Item Database to roll out dark mode there and then restructuring our CSS to support all this.

@ruruskadoo: Our site only provides dark mode if your browser is set to use dark mode. If you want to go dark mode across the web, check your browser settings! If not, then hold tight and see right above. We're working on a way to manually switch it

Also, we know the Pride theme selection is limited! Our volunteers were only able to get to these 5 themes this year, but we definitely hope to add more for Pride month next year!

I'd suggest Ace but I never found our flag colors appealing. I wish they used less drab colors when designing it. It reinforces the assumption that we're all boring and sad. :/

Loving the NB theme!!!! That's what I say when I want to go more general than Ace as my identity.

I don't think the Ace colors are drab - but they do make me fee like i'm very deep inside me, which is kinda how I feel about Ace, to be honest. However, I love the NB colors. I'd love a way to combine NB with Ace at the same time, lol.

I love the pride themes!! Thank you so much for them! I would also like to hop aboard the asexual train and suggest an ace theme - I think it would be fairly easy to make it work particularly as a dark mode type of theme, due to the black and grey in the ace colors, and I wouldn't mind that at all.

I hope next year you guys can do Ace, Aro, and/or AroAce! In the mean time though, I'm so happy to get to use a trans theme! (I'm nonbinary, but the transgender flag supports ALL my trans siblings, so I'm happy to rep it on here during such rough times!)
