I love the colour, although it's a weird mix between Rainbow and actual Pastel. I feel like it would be more fitting for a full-body paint, seeing as it's so different from all the other species in either of those colours. I can't help but feel it looks very, uh, well... tasty

More pride is great! I agree with amethyst, inconsistent color choice for pastel, though inconsistency has been a feature lately when it comes to certain pet colors *eyes relic*

No news on Faerie Fragments update?

I find it ironic that they released what is clearly a pastel rainbow Chia when the Chia was skipped over for the NC styles which offers this for other species. Though, it is well executed, it doesn't fit with either rainbow or pastel and it's always bugged me when a particular species doesn't 'fit' in with the rest of a specific paint brush colour.

I like how the pastel chia lineart actually changes to match the colour of the gradient. The pastel usul was a huge miss for me because the lineart remained orange all the way through, even on the blue parts of the gradient.

cute chia! i'm glad they're releasing some pride stuff that's not nc-only. the love button in the lower right corner on the fg looks kinda illusen+jhudora themed..... but it also looks kind of like inscrutible blobs of color hahah.

Love Pride, big ally. Probably in the minority but I really wish they'd stop blending colors for base NP Paint Brushes. Please, leave the blends to tokens?... It's either Rainbow or it's Pastel, I know we can obviously have Pastel Rainbow but, c'mon, we essentially have two Rainbow PBs for Chias. Just like 8-bit Jetsam that's a Pirate. So we have two Pirate PB Jetsams and those colors for those pets will never be touched again. Essentially set in stone. When there's SO many other options for base colors you can play with and use.

I'm cracking up over the Rainbow Florg Plushie. Like, yeah, he's a bad guy who eats petpets, but he's not homophobic.

@notsia - I totally disagree. Tokens are so limiting, and I vastly prefer to see pet color blends that enable one to customize the pet. This Chia color is amazing, and I think it's good that they are being more creative about colors rather than make every pet look exactly the same with just a different shape.

If anything I wish they would do more of this.

I do agree with the overall consensus here. I love the Pastel Chia, the colours are really soft and great. Like something you'd find on a piece of candy, or a beloved childhood toy. However, I would have preferred if they stuck a colour to a theme, instead of just doing whatever and calling it that colour. There being an NP version of what essentially looks like a Style is good, of course, but why not sell this as a customisable item for all pets (not all at once maybe, roll it out in phases)? Similar to the.. was it the Polka Dot Poogle or the Kacheek many people had a problem with, prompting them to release an extra make-up item?

Anyway, very pretty colour. The stickers are a little basic, but they work. I can see them releasing these for other Pride facets in the future as well, like with the flags and banners ^^
