Last 24 Hours of The Void Within

UPDATE, June 16th: With the start of a new week, there are once again Void Essences available to collect today. It seems possible that they may disappear at 10am NST, so we advise claiming them as soon as possible!

There is no longer a chapter meter displayed on the plot's hub page, however it appears that the chapter meter is still live. If you have yet to complete this past week's meter, you can still earn points up to the cap from activities like volunteering or battling. Again, this will likely end at 10am NST.

Chapter 19, the plot's epilogue, is also partially uploaded with a new, currently blank page available in the plot's story pages. We expect this will also become fully live later on.

There are only 24 hours left of The Void Within. Chapter 18 (the final chapter!) will end at 10am NST on Tuesday, June 16.

If you are trying to maximize your plot points, make sure to fill your hub meter before 10am NST on Tuesday, June 16. This is most easily done through Hospital shifts and plot battles. Plot points earned from Achievements and Void Essence Collection do not count against chapter limits.

There will not be another chapter after this one! There will likely not be another chance to complete Achievements or progress the Adventure Pass after the plot concludes.

All Neopians can earn up to 4,000 points per chapter. This can be increased to as high as 7,000 through use of Chapter Meter Energy Booster NC items, though these extra points are only for the prize shop and do not count towards trophy progress.

Upcoming Prize Shop Changes
When the plot returned for its final episode, the official FAQ previewed two big changes to the prize shop after the plot concludes. Keep these changes in mind while considering when and how to spend your plot points!

First: these Battledome items will be removed "after a 2 week grace period following the end of the plot."

Second: all "collectibles (stamps, charms, etc.), morphing potions, and paint brushes that aren't new plot items" will be changed to limit 1. The FAQ does not name specific items.

What do yall think will be the most valuable collectibles after the limit is implemented? People have had plenty of time to save up enough points the last few years

The hub says "The end of Chapter 18 draws near... Best ensure you are all caught up before the day ends and another chapter begins!", and the Plot Timeline has a "Coming Soon" after "Chromatic Crescendo".

The former is probably default text that shows up on Mondays, and the latter is probably a reference to the June Update post that said "And be sure to keep an eye out after the dust settles, as there may still be a few secrets waiting to be uncovered…"

But man I would love a surprise extra week to gather points and hit that 60k trophy.

I never got the very first achievement, but I thought I would be able to get the “Attend a Seasonal Event” achievement as I have attended every single event the past couple years. Will I just never get that achievement? ;-;

The battle items are being removed from the plot shop, or we will have those items that we purchased that fit that list removed if we purchased them from the plot?

@pikachu315111 The FAQ is unclear about the limiting to one. Could happen right away, could happen together with the removals in two weeks.
@yuns_avatar They will be removed from the prize shop. The ones you already bought are safe.

I'm not happy that they retired the chapter energy boost from the NC before the end of the plot.

I wouldn't have thought they would've ended a money-maker for them so soon.

I don't get it.. Why such a change? After the plot ends, we don't get more points. So after that, the number of plot points available site-wide will go down, meaning people won't be able to afford stuff indefintely anyway.
Sure, we've had years to buy these weapons (or multiple stamps), but old TNT never altered prize shops after making them available...

Who wants to put money on TNT adding a random extra stamp nine days after the plot ends?

Is this the end of the plot, or just the end of this chapter? I don't want to spend my plot points if there's going to be more in another year or whatever. The bar at the bottom of the home page says 'Coming Soon' after chapter 18, so I'm confused!

@ neolodgeism: I don't think that would be an issue, there's a lot of items and even focusing on the high costing prizes you'll be surprise how quickly the points get spent.

No, the issue is the random decision to remove prizes & add limits to others. Like, why? There's only a finite amount of points and pretty much everyone has earned all the points they're going to have (and for those who still have more points to earn its at max 4k). If they're okay with how the Prize Shop is now then what's the difference between people spending their points now rather than later? This can't be a FOMO thing as there's no real money/NC to make here, it's all plot points & NP. It can't be a space issue as they're keeping the Prize Shop open. All this does is unfairly punish those players who don't know about the changes so wait to spend their prize points until its too late; and people like to wait to spend their plot points because they want to see how the market costs shifts & settles.

Well, I guess for me its a moot point as I decided to spend my points before the changes take place, thus I got everything I'm interested in.

@ apophis324: While them removing/limiting items is confusing, at the very least they did announce this ahead of time (how many people got the memo who knows, but I saw Herdy telling people on the Neoboards). Herdy also said TNT weren't adding in any more prizes, what we have is what we're getting. If they pull a surprise and add more prizes in after most have spent their points due to the warning them removing items, it would be a massive blow to our trust that we can take their word on things.

@pikachu315111 thats an extremely good point. I've been trying to figure it out, but I really don't know why they would be concerned about this. Artificial price gauging or inflation? that's already practically a feature of the games economy. TNT does baffle me sometimes...

Could be just so someone doesnt try to corner a market on any one collectable ect by holding points seeing them off slowly and to keep prices al ittle predictable so they can release them in other events ect. could be jsut to make them rare again.

I think it's because they'll sell the cookie you could join after it ends so that's why they remove those weapons and limited some of them to purchase.

They better add new prizes. I have a TON of points and I wouldnt know what to spend it on. So almost 3 years of this.. hoarding points, for what?
Im sure other users also agree, and want some new items.
Plus what about End of the Plot prizes? Im so confused, TNT has barely given us any information.

@pikachu315111 They're going to remove it because they're going to create the Fortune Cookie Chapter Replay. In other words, anyone who wants to buy it can replay a chapter, collect the 4000 points, and spend them in the prize shop. If they keep everything exactly as it is, it creates a problem with players because of the pay-to-win aspect, so they decided to remove the most powerful battle items to avoid being unfair, and limit the number of items to 1 per collectible.

@allanmennezess is that official? a huge problem with the extended battlepass was that new players couldnt use it. if they opem up earning retroactive points that really makes this entire thing p2w since the most worthwhile prizes are all locked behind the extended battlepass

To have people do the plot and try to keep up (and then deal with the eternal hiatuses) and then do a payable replay item? That... doesn't sit right. What was the point of having a plot then.

Also RIP the price of zafara morphs... Grey was the only affordable one, and only because of the prize shop.

We already know about Chapter Replay Fortune Cookie since Act II. Since they are going to allow people to earn points (not counting towards trophy) after the end of the plot, they remove most desirable items from the shop.

At the start of Act 2 TNT said they would only add prize shop items, not remove them. But now that they've connived a way to make the plot profitable after it's over, they're going back on their word. Disappointing move.

Would really love to collect my essence today but I am getting full page ads on mobile that I cannot skip or exit out of. I had the same on the battle dome. These are so invasive! Anyone else having that problem?

I have never been so underwhelmed by a prize shop. Unless they add some of new stuff I see nothing to bother getting. And if they add things I missed but others were successful in grinding out (Drakaras Wand, Corrupted Staff of the Void, etc) I'd be pissed on their behalf so no way for TNT to win here really

@vivabug Fair point. My issue is that I've gotten everything I wanted (your aforementioned multiple grade A, end game battledome items) and still have 70K Spendable Points. And I got all of those things since before the last 2 breaks I think. So everything since then, Prize Shop-wise, was for nothing.

I don't collect stamps nor do I need Morphing Potions, and I don't want to contribute to the inflation for those who do so I won't be get those and price gouge; I have as many Pets as I think I'm going to so I don't need new petpets. I am glad that people who don't have those things can get them thru this Prize Shop, as I was to get my Wand of the Dark Faerie, Grapes of Wrath, Thunder Sticks, etc, and hopefully it helps being down the np cost for everyone. What I think for me would be things I'd look to spend my last 70K Spendable Points are things specific to this plot, exclusives that aren't coming back. And the Prize Shop right now doesn't have many of those. They may add more stuff and I'd love to that check that out. But *right now* it's a "meh" for me

@cybertrini I just think based on what you're saying that this wasn't an underwhelming rewards shop but it was underwhelming to you. That's unfortunate but what I'm learning after returning to the site is there is never ever going to be a way to please everyone. Every single feature seems to have people who hate it and others who've been asking for it. But calling the shop overwhelming because there weren't things that you specifically wanted I think is... well I mean everyone's entitled to their opinions.

Lol they literally have never had a prize shop so stacked with incredible items. Have you been around for a plot before? This is the first one where they had several prizes that were legitimately some of the most powerful and sought after items in the entire game. My problem with the prize shop is that it was too stacked too early. They cut out years of gameplay and progression for me by handing out shit like jhudoras wand for free lol.

Yeah I don't follow the underwhelming comments. As a longterm casual player, I would've never imagined getting the most expensive BD items like Thunder Sticks or Wand of the Dark Faerie for just doing daily plot things. I do think waiting to reveal the prize shop would've been more exciting.

according to reddit, riddle 4 is solved by having 4 different items with "space" in their name and checking your inventory. and the second part is checking kreludan mining corp.
