Love the new styles, totally getting the new Vira token and Ozzy, and lots of the Pride ones! <3 So fun to see the Nostalgic Rainbow ones too.

How DARE neo put out pride tokens when I'm trying to give them less money. AND they have all my flags, not just the rainbow one. Ahhhhhhhhhhh. I NEED them.

Also seconding what Dorwart said. Transgender is the accepted term not transsexual.

There are no Mynci tokens among the Pride ones. I noticed this on the ~spoilerss page as well. Poor Mynci are left out!

Really incredibly lame of them to reuse the Valentine Adoring poses instead of drawing new poses... It's literally just a prismatic version that then has prismatic versions of itself...

And once again my favorite species is excluded. Jetsams really get no love

Never heard of the Pastel orientation before, what is their romantic attraction?

I kid, I kid. Just found it funny Pastel to be sandwiched between the other LGBTQ+ Prismatics; I know it's done that way because they listed them in alphabetical order.

Though, wait, does the Pastel Rainbow (as well as Nostalgic Rainbow) count toward the Pride themed Prismatics? AKA do their purchases count toward the donation to the It Gets Better project? If so no issue, but if they don't that's a pretty important distinction and should be noted.

Anyway, the Prismatics look nice. I'm debating whether it may have been a better idea to stick to the Rainbow's usual layering effect instead of having a gradient; some of them look more like Prismatics for Eventide than Rainbow. May also help more distinguish the differences between Rainbow & Pansexual, Bisexual & Lesbian, and Pastel & Transgender.

That all said, I am happy to see Rainbow at least got its gradient version (if I were to suggest some alt patterns: Reversed (colored ordered the opposite direction: vbgyor) and Inverted (cyan, azure, blue, purple, yellow, pale green)).

New Treasured Styles are Vira, Nyx, Cylara, Kass, Tarla, Shop Wizard, Jake, Coltzan, Roxton, Garin, & Ozzy.

All look adorable, an obvious yet small lean toward the recent plot though plenty of other iconic characters. Though, looking at all the Treasured Characters they've done, it does sometimes feel like an odd bunch. Like I'm assuming maybe some of the choices are due to them focusing on a Species and decided to pick an interesting looking character of that species. While we have some obvious pairs/groups, we then have some who are by themselves (notably Pan, Talinia (only NQ rep), Arty (there's still plenty of other Shopkeepers I'd have done before thinking of Arty), Rasala (aside from Kanrik feels odd not to have the other Faction leaders), Florin (the only Altador Council member here), Cylara, & Garin).

Heck I could come up with a list of "missing" characters that'll at least complete some pairings/trios: Jeran (we have Lisha, Double Agent, & Kass but no Jeran?), Honcho (for Pan), Armin (Hannak & Kanrik may be considered a power couple but let's not forget the third HatIC hero), Lillian Fairweather (with Jethro Rourke & Roxton), Joride (with Clara & Roxton), Gorix (for Cylara). Lord Darigan (as a counterpart/foil for Kass), Jacques/Isca (either one or both for Garin).

Also no Treasured Faeries? OR WAIT, maybe instead of the Treasure Keeper Style for a special Faerie Style, how about Faerie Dolls (aka Chibi style)?

Does anyone know what constitutes "proceeds" for the prismatics? Is it whenever someone buys a prismatic brush or SSS/DSSS from the mall during this time frame?

All except Jetsams again. They got a MS Paint Raindow recolour from the Nostalgic template though.

I’m annoyed they stuck nostalgic blue in the rotation. Even though it should have been 50/50 I ended up with an uncomfortable amount of blue kyrii instead of the rainbow and was very frustrated by it since I then had to gamble to get the ace prismatic. I feel like for pride month they should have given us a guaranteed rainbow style if not one guaranteed prismatic as well.
Oh well I got got and got my pretty purple and black kyrii in the end

Had to get Coltzan! I also got (regular) Vira and Kelland out of my pulls from recycling, and even some of the new Adoring Rainbow ones (Bruce, Ixi, and Koi) I guess I forgot current tokens can be a pull from restyling.

I love these! But really wish they had made the different orientations separate tokens instead of making them prismatics you have to gamble for. For LGBTQA+ identities you really ought to be able to get your preferred flag outright.

That's what I think too, that it should've been more direct with this many. I mean I guess it encourages trading, but having to cross your fingers and hope for the right prismatic is annoying, I am sure.

Genderqueer and MLM are left out as always Granted, it is REALLY hard to include everyone's flags because there are so many, but GQ and MLM seem to always get the short end of the stick despite being (imo) pretty common/well-known flags? MLM's absence tends to sting more when Lesbian is present, in particular.

I don't mean to complain, though -- these are very cute and I personally like that they're the Valentine (love-themed!) poses. Some of them are doing heart gestures and I think it's lovely Maybe more flags will see representation next year! I will say the nonbinary palette looks really nice on a lot of these, despite my personal distaste for the aesthetic of that flag. That Varwolf is SHARP!

I agree - really annoying that MLM isn't there, especially when we got some random 'pastel' situation. Whaa?

I took a gamble and actually got all the prismatic colors I wanted!! I'm so happy

I've been waiting for them to officially drop. The poses are reused, but I will say these are some of the better poses I have seen in the past (though again, reused.) but I absolutely love the colors! I say this with love, but I was worried that if they ever did pride flag colors, they would be sharp and unmatching, and boy was I happy to see how fluid and beautiful these all came out as! The colors are pleasing on the eyes and the blending is perfect.

I do agree though, its a shame that MLM is lacking, especially if WLW is present (I guess they are considering the blanket adoring rainbow good enough?) I really hope though this does well enough that next time this rolls around they would include the additional color flag. (fingers crossed) I am happy for an attempt at this though, and hopefully they count tokens bought with preexisting brushes towards their donation too <3

These styles should have been the prismatic versions of Adoring Valentine themselves. I also question their statement about "all profits from the Pride-themed prismatics will be donated to the It Gets Better project."
Since this is a gacha, how do they determine profits from Pride-theme? Will they just count the number of Pride-theme styles obtained this period, and multiply by 600 NC (if SSS is used) or 1400 NC (if DSSS is used)?

Or perhaps only the profit from the prismatics is included and not the base style?

Been waiting for these, but ugh, WHY did they add the blue back in?! (I know, I know, cash grab to make you spend more - but that really sucks for PRIDE THEMED TOKENS )

Really should have made nostalgic rainbow the default so you're guaranteed a rainbow token. I don't mind the orientations/identities being prismatics, since there's a lot, but again, ugh, blue.

Also how do we know they're actually going to donate the proceeds? Are they keeping track of how many D/SSS get sold and donating that? Are they tracking what gets sold AND used? What about sales of prismatic brushes? And will they tell us the total donated? Somehow I don't think so, and I hate to be THAT person, but how do we know they aren't just gonna pocket the money?
When Flight Rising did a fundraiser like this they flat out told us how many items were bought and how much they donated - with a copy of the receipt! Neopets needs to do THAT sorta thing,

For those upset about their LGBTQ+ orientation not being present, there's always next year. Using the Human Rights Campaign's flag resource, looking through the flags for orientation they didn't pick:

* POLYAMORY (Blue, Magenta, Dark Purple; It has an off center white triangle (the point reaching the bottom border of the top stripe) cut off at either end coming from the side with a sideways yellow heart)
* INTERSEX (All Yellow with a Purple Ring in the center)
* QUEER PEOPLE OF COLOR (The six stripe Rainbow Pride flag with an black circle overlapping most of it and an outline of a fist separated into six color stripes: Dark Brown, Brown, Reddish Brown, Golden Brown, Tan, White)
* TWO-SPIRIT (The six stripe Rainbow Pride flag with a black-and-white drawing of two black-tipped feathers tied together on a hair(?) knot in the cen

There's also a unique Pride Flag from Africa, though if I'm reading its description right its made up of the national flags of African countries which is why it looks so unique; hence likely something that wouldn't be adaptable.

But all the other flags I mentioned above certainly have a chance next year.

That pan Xweetok is PERFECT not really interested in gambling for it but these are all so incredibly PRETTY.

The Treasured Style for Coltzan, Vira and Lania look off style, especially Lania. Granted the TK style really only works for pets that have relatively flat / round faces that can be easily anime-ized, but Lania and Vira, would not have registered those as being part of the TK series. Coltzan in particular just due to the Lupe snout is out of luck.

The color that's all about inclusivity excludes the Jetsam.

I didn't really like the plot but I have to admit Ozzy's actual design is very charming, I love when neo uses less loved species, it's so refreshing

Love these styles, sucks I can't say asexual on the forums if I wanna make a trade topic for the one I want because of it containing the word sex.

I kinda wish they hadn't re-used the adoring valentines styles for this. It makes some sense for the romantic orientations like pan or bi, but being trans or nonbinary has nothing to do with love and it's especially out of place with the ace flag. (Yes, I know some asexuals can be interested in romance, but as one who is NOT it feels lazy and alienating.)

As someone who doesn't really pay attention to NC as I tend to find it too pricey, Coltzan caught my attention.

After looking into it, my understanding is I would need to recycle my styles 15 times which requires 36 styles (provided I can recycle a second time) which is 36 * 600 NC = 21 600 NC which is about 155 USD using the highest NC package to get a 1/15 shots at Coltzan?

That is completely absurd.

I wish they were more daring and let the not as "cute" pets have cute stuff too. It's usually the most popular pets now.

@ frozenorb - If you do the full 15 restyles, you can choose Coltzan, it's not a 1/15 chance at that point. But I agree, it's still too high especially considering we need to purchase restyling supplies on top of the tokens we already purchased XD

I have similar feelings about nc upcycle cookies -- we shouldn't have to pay to recycle something when the rewards are already far less than what was paid.
